Blind and deaf wife!!! Start with that to get your attention. I visited that store Saturday morning January 11 at 11:15 AM I pulled to the sidewalk for the handicap ramp is now understand it was not a designated parking spot nor did it say no parking. There was snow and ice on the parking lot. handicap spot was across the parking lot there was no cars on the lot, no customers on the lot or in the store. I parked the car put the hazard lights on. I took my wife’s service dog out to the restroom real quick, put him back in the car and then proceeded to get my wife out of the vehicle and help her into the store now I understand I am really stressing this point snow on the parking lot no customers not blocking nothing out the way has it lights on as soon as I come through the door, there was a manager, a lady and two possibly three more employees there was McDonald’s cups and McDonald’s food on the table and they was standing and sitting there eating outside food soon as I walk through the door the manager starts screaming at me that I cannot park there on Stan ADA allows me to park bar to get her into the restaurant safely instead of offering to open the door or going to open the door. There’s no way they did not see what was going on because they stared me the entire time my wife had her glasses on real dark special glasses and her Walking stick, which is a neon, white reflective and red cane. I have never felt so belittle and humiliated in my life as that woman starts screaming, but I can’t park there. I can’t park there. I can’t park there. I said I’m not staying. I’m bringing her in. It would’ve been nice if you would assist Again she said she would call the cops. If I did not move my car never intended to leave it there I could understand if they was busy in the parking lot was clear things like that, but I was not risking no one or anything. It was an open parking lot. I was at the handicap ramp that’s what it designed for so we proceeded to order the food. I got my wife, a two piece, fish meal and a small order of clams don’t know how but it comes to $20 even or that meal I requested it to be cooked fresh and within two minutes of placing my order, she threw the bag on the counter and walked off. The food was not cooked fresh. It was not cold. It was warm. I’m assuming I was probably their first customer not sure and I’m guessing the food that I was served was what they had started off the day with again it was warm. It was on the hard side. So I reached out to the 800 number man returned phone call said he was a general manager and I explained to him what happened and then he started in on me. He says I have it on video. I said sure you do. What did I do he said you parked there? What did I do after I parked there? He said you brought your wife and that’s what I do after that. He said you left the store and moved your car correct what did I do wrong his words to me was she is my best friend and I’ve never had a complaint against herwell I’m guessing you probably had many complaints and because she’s your best friend it’s never went nowhere so I called along on Silver’s bike 800 number again a week ago and I’m still waiting on somebody else to call me back. I felt discriminated against because my wife being blind. I personally would not recommend that store if you’re handicapped in any shape was I wrong to park in that spot? I don’t believe it was. It was for the safety of my wife and the ease of my wife to get her into the restaurant was not welcomed at all in that store. It was like it was a burden for me to come in there to place the order. Read moreWe've been waiting to eat here for along time, its been closed for remodeling. Not sure what they did account We've never ate inside. Didn't look like anything but paint. The bathrooms are unisex and the one I used already had empty soap containers and the trash can was flowing over that I brought my hand towel back to the table. Now the food, there wasn't anyone at the drive thru and only 6 customers inside with 6 employees working (plenty to handle a crowd if needed). We ordered the 12 piece dinner with 3 sides, 6 chickens 6 fish 2 corn and 1 French fry. The corn was extremely dry and looked like it had been sitting out for sometime, the chicken was way over cooked and the crust was to hard to eat, the fries was also old and soft. The fish was the only thing correct in the meal. When we ordered we said for eat in, when it came out :20 minutes later it was is those large Styrofoam containers no plates. The prices have gone up tremendously, this same meal in Roanoke, Virginia was less than $35, at Fairley WV it was $56 We won't be back to eat there again...
Read moreTook a ride couple weeks ago stopped by long johns to eat order food had 2 orders. Order was 22.00. Get up 2 the window didn't have change for 50.00. So we had to drive down the Street to get change come back to pay for food thinking they would have refixed order no management David was going to hand us the food they had setting until we got back with change. I said I know you not gonna give us that food you already fixed while we went to get change he said yeah I said can you give us hot food he said we not suppose to do that. He said I will do it this time. With an attitude. We told him to keep it & we wouldnt be back. I asked David was he the Manager he said yeah had on sweat shirt. not management like at all. I worked in fast food for 16 yrs. I have visited this long John 3 times.. Never have Pepsi always out. No large cups with the survey you buy large drink I got offered a medium because they didnt have large cups.
