Waffle House — Restaurant in West Virginia

On 03/03/2023, between the times of 10:00am and 10:30am, I went to the Inwood, WV location. I was at the register where I dark hard young woman was taking orders. There was nobody else waiting at the register with me at this time. She was writing two receipts or tickets, and was chatting with another worker so I continued to wait for her to be done. She had looked up at me and the other worker behind her had also seen me waiting. She checked her phone and continued to chat with the worker behind her. She then walked away from me, the worker behind her following. The couple at the diner bar eating was looking confused, as was to why I wasn't being served, and was ignored. The worker then went to the stove area across and to the left of me and looked at me, she stood there eating her own food while I waited a moment more. The other worker would not re-approach the register either. The workers were not working. Nobody was cooking or checking anybody out. They just looked at me and ate their food. One other couple who was there, possibly Hispanic, whom was there before me, seated at a table was not served, not even drinks. The worker had also looked at them because they were looking through the kitchen to see what was going on. At this point I could see I wasn't going to get served. After I waited there a moment a man came behind me to pay his ticket and the worker started over to get his ticket. I left, and never got my food. I'm not sure why I would be refused service here.

I contacted Waffle House multiple times. I received the Division Managers number, and left a voicemail. My call was never returned. When I finally got some of response from the Division Manager through email he apologized that I didn't get a greeting coming in the door. I told him that was not my complaint. My complaint was the above, which I submitted multiple times, and that I was not served, blatantly ignored, and refused service. I suggested he watch the video footage so that we both can get some clarity on what happened and why. He stopped contact with me. My partner in the day of the incident also submitted a generic complaint on their website, and received a letter and coupons in the mail while I was ignored for...

We always have a good time at waffle house but this time was so special. There is an older lady that works there now and the food she cooked was amazing. We ordered togo and it was great so we dinned in this time. The older lady came over took our drink orders. When she came back and took our food orders my 3 yr old was chanting for bacon lol as she loves bacon. We ordered our food and of course a side order of bacon for my 3 yr old. That lady didn't skip a beat. she went right over cooked my baby her plate of bacon and made her a butterfly waffle special for her and even brought over the side of bacon that went with my other kids meal that she didn't want but we said my 3yr old would eat it cause she LOVES bacon. So this woman brought all this over right away so my little one could eat and stop chanting BACON while we waited just a few more mins for our food. My daughter loves that women kept saying thank you and she usually don't talk to anyone and she was just the sweetest employee I have ever met. That lady truly made our whole familys night and she deserves so much praise. Will definitely be back for...

I dont eat out alot so when I do I try to keep an open mind. But I gotta say this was by all means the best experience eating out I've ever had. The food was well beyond what I was expecting. I got a double bacon cheeseburger with hashbrowns an a sweet tea. The burger was the best burger I've ever had at a restaurant perfect cook with plenty of flavor, the bacon on it was just right crispy an to me a person who isnt much on salt. Actually not very salty an that says alot. The flavors were trully amazing. The hashbrowns I got with it were cooked just right, not to crispy not burnt. No for the most important part. The sweet tea. I always get sweet tea everywhere I go, an I'm almost always disappointed. This is the first place I've ever been to that the sweet tea was actually sweet not like McDonald's an over sweet working you in to the diabetes route but just right on the line for sweet an good.
