This place does not deserve any stars. It does not even deserve half of a star. Nevertheless, I was forced to give it a star. I ordered online to have my food delivered via Doordash. The food arrived burnt. We ordered a large pizza, wings, a sausage sandwich, and a side of focaccia bread. All of it was burnt - except for the focaccia bread. My family was starving as we had just got done swimming. I called Anthony's coal fired pizza to complain. It was a Sunday. The guy who answered the call said he was going to credit me a pizza. 1 pizza - after spending almost $80!?! I asked for a refund. He said this was his last day working, and I'd have to call back Monday to speak to the manager. I think the manager's name was Willy, Lilly, or some kind -illy. I'm still not sure because when I called and asked to speak to the manager, "Willy," a woman answered. So, I think the manager's name is "Lilly." Unless she prefers "Willy." 🤷♀️ After speaking to Willy/Lilly, she apologized, asked for my confirmation number, the amount spent, a call back number, and some time "to look into this." I gave her 2 weeks. Nothing. I called back, and Willy/Lilly was surprised I had not gotten my refund back. She said she was going to inform corporate. 2 more weeks went by. Still no refund. I called back and Willy/Lilly said she had not heard back from "corporate," and maybe it was due to Doordash delivering the food and that "corporate" had to get in contact with Doordash. 2 more weeks went by. A month and a half has gone by, and there was still no refund. I gave up because I don't think Willy/Lilly knows what she's doing. If you don't know how to do a refund, learn or ask...
Read moreWe were in the area a couple of weeks ago and I was in the mood for pizza so of course I googled woodfire pizza and this option came up. We got to the place around 1:30 and easily found a table outside and after a few minutes 2 waiters came to our table (1 was training the new guy). We ordered a medium pizza with sausage and mushrooms and patiently waited. For some reason the service was not that great but the pizza was amazing and after seeing the ad on the table about the Coal Fired Club so I immediately signed up and we received our email for a free pizza the next morning so before heading back home to Baltimore we stopped back for a late lunch. We were able to get the same outside table we had the previous day but this time we got lucky and got this amazing server named Michaleigh. She was super attentive and we spent a few minutes just chatting with her, she is definitely an asset to the restaurant, the day before she was waiting on 2 guys behind us who were quite pushy and she handled them with class and kid gloves. On our second visit we got an order of the bbq wings and a medium pepper and sausage pizza. The wings were some of the best we've ever had and the pizza was great as usuall but it was a little frustrating that we weren't able to pay an upcharge to get the meatballs on our pizza. The wings are served with blue cheese and foccacia and let me tell you, I haven't stopped thinking about how delicious they were. We really love the West Chester area which is close by so we will definitely be...
Read moreI want to preface this review by saying that I contacted ACFP and was contacted by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager about this issue. She was very nice and understanding and has also sent me a gift card to go back and make sure I don't have the same experience again. We visited ACFP in Exton for dinner about a month ago. We were blatantly discriminated against by a young, white male server. We told him that one of us is vegan and one of us is vegetarian. When we ordered a pizza with eggplant 1/2 with cheese and 1/2 without cheese, he did not tell us that the eggplant is breaded with an egg wash and that any pizza with eggplant is considered a "skinny pizza" and hence does not have cheese on it anyways. Before the pizza, we had ordered their salad without egg so even if he did not know what vegan is, he should have known to tell us that the eggplant has egg. We did not get plates and silverware until we asked, we did not get asked if we want a change of plates between appetizer and pizza and he barely asked us if there was anything else we needed. Meanwhile, the tables of white families around us were being wined and dined by him. Lastly, he was not wearing a mask but rather a bandana which is not an enclosed face covering. This place has a mainly white staff with only two Latinx folks and one black person on the staff. When diversity does not exist, inclusion is not possible. I hope that in the future this location hires a more diverse staff and works towards making all guests feel welcome and...
