Brio 33 — Restaurant in Westborough

Was excited to try this new restaurant that replaced Tavolino. Unfortunately I’d never go back. The food wasn’t tasty, it was super oily and not flavorful. The menu is small and the prices are crazy. I miss Tavolino so much. Their drinks and food were 1000 times better. The service was okay but they are trying to be fancy yet the staff are very untrained. Tavolino had a better atmosphere, adding wrinkled blue tablecloths did not make it nicer inside. At least Brio 33 kept the little after dinner candies. I first dined at Brio 33 on the soft opening night, ordering the Bouillabaisse and the Poutine, as well as the “Just a Pipe Dream” cocktail (Old Fashioned). I went there again tonight and had the Coconut Shrimp Bowl. Both times the food was delicious and the service great!

Randy is an All-Star bartender and deserves to be recognized. In Westborough, a town that one could say is over saturated with restaurants, Brio 33 stands out and is definitely worth a try for anyone looking for a welcoming environment with a diverse menu and caring...

Food was delicious! Everything else there are kinks to work out. Water was a 25 minute wait before even ordering. Was offered sparkling water and at the end saw the bill with $30 of sparkling water was outrageous. We said , we didn’t want dessert but it was my birthday and was charged $10 when my husband was told it was free.
