The Panera Bread is perfectly located near the downtown Westborough. The ambience of the place is good and staff is great. The taste of food is fine as I don't think it is great but could be better. As a family you can go to it ones in a 2-3 months. I don't think it is a place to go regularly. Reason - it will not give you value for money. The serving portions are small and the amount charged on those items is not justified. We order veggies Capri sandwish which was fine in comparison to baza Mediterranean veggie bowl. The rice and beans in it were under cooked and portion was very small for an adult man. For kids menu we order mac n cheese which was again very small portion as my kid 3 yr old asked for more food after finishing it. We also took 2 small canns of apple juice $3 each which is also don't make sense price wise. Overall, we spent $43 on these 3 eating items and 2 apple juice for kids. I think it was not a value for money meal and will only recommend to goto this place as ones in...
Read moreStopped in after a rained out game at Fenway on Fourth of July around 5:40 PM. First, appalled by the employees screaming across the restaurant to one another in another language. Picked a You-Pick-Two Ceasar salad and half sandwich meal. The baguette that came with the salad was old, hard and NOT A baguette at all. Not sure what kind of bread it was, but definitely not a baguette. After just spending over $50 for three meals, I expected a replacement baguette piece would be an easy request. NOT SO! To my surprise, the manager listened to my concern, asked why I wanted a replacement, and when I explained that it did not taste like a baguette, but rather old and different, she insisted that it was fine, although did admit that it was yesterday's bread, and did not offer a replacement piece or any type of apology. As someone who is in business, I am disgusted that a supposed manager has zero people skills. Typically love Panera, but this place will NOT be on a list of...
Read moreThe manager was really pleasant and very accommodating. The restroom was ACTUALLY wheelchair accessible, except the toilet paper dispenser was mounted a bit too low. When I talked to the manager her said he'd send an email to maintenance right away, and was receptive to why it was too low and where a more appropriate place would be. I made sure to compliment the rest of the accessibility, pointing out the properly placed coat hook, lock handle, appropriately mounted soap and paper towel dispensers, and the type and sink and faucet.
If you're a wheelchair user, these things REALLY matter. It was nice to know that the manager on duty actually cared enough to listen to my feedback and take care of the situation immediately, saying "hopefully by the time you come back it will be fixed." Usually they don't seem to take it to heart and when I return months later I face the same issues, only to have to lodge the...
