I live less than a mile from here, so before reading, just know that I ONLY continue to go to this location out of sheer convenience.
So Finally, after putting up with the outright laziness and disregard for pride in a job, I have to leave this review. It pains me to especially because I work in a restaurant and know how hard people can be to please sometimes but this specific chipotle.... sucks.
First of all, if you ever get delivery/door dash, especially during meal time) it is going to get screwed up. I’m 4 for 4 on orders showing up so far from how I ordered them it’s silly. Oh, and If you order delivery and want a refund, get ready to enjoy 30 mins online of filling out a reimbursement request and uploading photos of your receipt/jacked up food. The store is “not authorized” to give refunds on delivery/door dash. Door dash is not the problem it’s the Chip folks.
Second, there is zero consistency in quality and production of the food. Temperatures of food, quantities that get put into meals, and level of spice. Temperatures are always luck of the draw, portions to most aren’t a big deal, but when I rely on nutrition facts from the website to dose insulin to my 8 year old daughter with type 1 diabetes, it matters. Food for thought corporate!! I have had identically ordered burritos be upwards of a full 1/2 pound difference in size. How the hell does that happen. With spice, again, it’s a coin flip, it’s been so over spiced before I’ve thrown the whole meal in the garbage.
Last, your staff does not care as a team. I’m the guy that literally says nothing except my order and “please and thank you” and receive attitude from the same 3-4 staff members EVERY time.” I have also seen co workers harass and even argue right at the counter with Eachother.
I won’t stop buying Chipotle in general, I love it, but this is 100% last time I spend my hard earned money at this location. You scared away a guy that’s given this place over...
Read moreNEW REVIEW 5/19/24. Intentional screw up!!! This place was improving, chipotle emailed me regarding my previous review (below) and since then I had no problem with my in person orders. BUT then I tried online order/delivery…. It looked like they intentionally made my order incorrectly in every way possible to get back at me. For chicken bowl they gave me hard tacos filled with rice and lettuce and with nearly all the ingredients different than what I had ordered. For the veggie bowl they gave me meat salad and again with nearly all the ingredients different from what I had ordered. This totally felt deliberate. No way they gave me someone else’s order since they managed to avoid nearly all the ingredients I asked for. In fact the labels in the bowls were accurate. We didn’t eat it at all, what if they put something bad or spoilt or spit in the food? I reached out to the store next day and gave them the food back and they wouldn’t even say sorry let alone refund. I reached out to chipotle contact us and they wouldn’t refund me either. Workers who engage in this kind of behavior should be FIRED and never be allowed to work in food service industry. Getting back at a customer and their family for a genuine bad review by putting them at risk should be a criminal offense.
Old review. I don’t know what’s wrong with this location, they are always running out of stuff by 8pm. And they never replenish. As with other chipotles in the area, they seem to prioritize online orders over in-store customers. The Marlborough location won’t even serve food if they have it. If chipotle wants to serve customers they should get their head out of their keisters and learn a thing or two from chic-fil-a. Read moreI've never really liked this particular Chipotle but it's near my work so I decided to swing by after work. In the past I've had similar poor experiences here, but it's convenient.. however today, was pretty ridiculous. I decided to do an online order to pick up because I can't stand talking to the employees here. They're annoying and they are not good at their jobs. I ordered a kid's quesadilla meal with chips as the side, no drink. I also ordered one taco with beans, rice, sofritas, and fajita veggies and also a regular bag of chips. First thing I noticed when I got home was the kid's chips was missing.. that's pretty lame. Then when I opened the bowl up for my taco it was spilled everywhere and the fajita vegetables were not on there. ITS ONE TACO. How do you forget ingredients for one item.. especially one of the smallest items there.. but I mean I still ate the food.. it's tasted good and the chips weren't super salty like they usually are. This particular experience doesn't seem that bad, but in the past I went here to sit down and eat, ordered a quesadilla, sat down with my gf, waited 10 minutes, then went back to the counter and had to remind them I had a quesadilla cooking.. safe to say it was burnt to hell. They still gave it to me though which shows how much they care lol.
If I get a refund out of this review I'll return to the store, but I know I won't get it.. so my business is lost. Not that they...
