Been here many times with my family (5) and have enjoyed food and overall experience. Unfortunately, Saturday night, comparatively speaking, was the worst service experience with a big decline in atmosphere and food quality. Will likely never visit again. Service was slow, unpleasant, and needed to go to manager multiple times because items ordered weren’t coming out after long delays (10-15 on drinks, apps 20-25 minutes, entrees needed to get the manager to get the waitress so we could place order since we tried to last 2 times but waitress was too busy to take). Atmosphere, the former buffet station, at sider center of dining, was closed (expected that) and now being used for supplies and storage of beer, napkins..etc (didn’t expect and was like staring at storage room). Lighting was bright and bathrooms weren’t very clean w doors kept open. Boneless spareribs (extremely fatty), chicken fingers (tiny), gyoza (filling lacked texture/taste), chicken (too sweet w no spice, even though asked for extra spice)…etc. Maybe just an off night but definitely couldn’t recommend if you are looking for an overall quality dining experience. Hope...
Read moreHey all, I get mandarin take out once a week. My wife and I love the food. So for a change we decided to eat in the restaurant. Saw a few unhygienic things, which i shrugged off. Im easy going, but what put me over the top was when the waitress blew her nose 6ft away from us. That did it for me. I stopped eating and left $70.00 in food on the table which we wanted to take home but not after that. I went to the front to pay and the hostess asked what was wrong when i told her she had a suprised look and said please let me get you the manager. She was very nice and did a great job. So the manager, although being an unbelievably nice guy, couldn't of caredless. Didn't offer anything except for an apology and said "sorry, ill talk to her, its tough for our staff, its that time of the year." Maybe im wrong. But if I owned a restaurant my wait staff wouldn't blow there nose around the customers. I'm 40 years old and I have probably complained three times in my entire life. We left a lot of food on the table we planned on eating/taking home because we were so...
Read moreI decided to check out Mandarin in Westborough after a colleague from work highly recommended it, and I took the kids along for the experience. While they don’t have a dedicated kids’ menu, my go-to for the little ones is always chicken wings—and let me tell you, these were the best chicken wings ever! Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just downright delicious.
For myself, I ordered the Mandarin Shrimp, and wow… the sauce, the perfectly coated shrimp, the mix of nuts, and the incredible depth of flavor—it was all next level. Every bite was amazing!
Our server was so friendly, engaging, and made the dining experience even better with great conversation and hospitality. The interior is both fancy and modern, creating an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. The buttefly koi fish are gorgeous!
Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend...
