We stopped by for a light lunch of Avocado Toast and a Thai style crab omelet “Crab Out Loud”. The meals were prepared with care and were delicious. Yummy perfectly ripe, thinly sliced avocado, with tomato, spinach, and cottage cheese on sourdough bread dusted with pink Himalayan salt and poppy seeds. Simple and satisfying. The Thai omelet was served hot from the skillet. The fluffy eggs were nicely enhanced with sweet sautéed onions and served over white rice. It did not have a pronounced flavor of crab but was savory and rich tasting. Hot sauce and ketchup were provided on the side (hot sauce is the way to go!) We tried a Thai lime iced tea - it was a bit unusual with cinnamon and turmeric(?) undertones, not my favorite, honestly, but the homemade ginger beer was excellent and refreshing. We loved sitting on the deck with the view of Riverbank Park across the street. Lovely service ,as always, from owner, Chanya, a lovely young lady who knows about Thai food! Clean bathrooms and a relaxed atmosphere. What a wonderful addition to the...
Read moreI grew up in westbrook and am so happy to see such a great little breakfast place open up right across from the park. Their smoothie bowls are DELICIOUS and I also tried their strawberry matcha and fell in love with it! My one complaint is that they are only open until 3pm which makes sense seeing as they serve breakfast but on a personal note, I have tried to go several times with friends who haven’t been only to realize it would be closed by the time we would get there so we had to find somewhere else to go. I just want everyone to be able to try this place 🫶🏻 great atmosphere to go with friends/family or just got sit by yourself and enjoy one of their delicious matchas or espresso drinks with a book or something to read! There is also outdoor seating for when...
Read moreThe matcha latte was good and my toast with fruit and maple syrup was also yummy. It was busy because they are new, but that's understandable.
I'm excited to try the coffee here. because Westbrook is lacking good options. Roots is crazy about religion and hides that their whole menu is gluten free, while Daily Grind has low food and drink quality. Wakie's has a thoughtful menu and drinks that look very good. The ingredients in my meal were good quality and they used a generous amount. We need places like this for Westbrook to grow.
The staff were friendly and it had a good vibe. It's a great place to visit if you love to leave your home on a...
