Clydesdale Tavern — Restaurant in Westerly

Tonight was my first time walking around downtown Westerly. I choose this place because it seemed more simple and down home than the rest of the places (of course which I prefer). I ordered my wine and wasn't there for five minutes when a man began swearing and yelling on his phone. Only a boy scout would really be offended by swearing but this guy was overly theatrical and begging for attention. He wouldn't stop. The tender was young and female and I can't blame her for not wanting to step in. I left without finishing my drink. Behavior such as this should be cut off right away and not tolerated. This incident made me think twice about not choosing the more expensive choices...

Great place with perfect size and space for local friends and regulars and cozy enough for new guests.

Rosa is amazing and congenial and a wonderful host. Rosa is also stunning and breathtaking in appearance and a total delight for the eyes.

You will instantly fall in love with this place and Rosa too! I would marry her unconditionally no questions asked....one italian to another!

I love this place! I have missed going in for a while, due to retina reattachment which means lying around,at home, for several Months in weird positions, and no driving! BUT now I can see again! And I cannot wait to drop into Clydesdale Tavern again soon. Sorry I missed the Halloween Party: but I see BANDS are BOOKED for the upcoming Season!! Great camaraderie and neighborhood “Good Feel” atmosphere. Rose is an Excellent Proprietress and Person. Her Nephew, a Fine Bartender. See you folks...
