Ram's Horn Restaurant — Restaurant in Westland

We have come to this Rams Horn for a long time. Tonight was the worst experience that we've ever had and we will not be back. We got to the restaurant at 1 am, at which point a drunk waitress took our order. She did not take our order in full, and after a night of not-so-professional actions, she was fired and we received a new waitress right after the other one took our order. She asked if the other waitress got our order and we said yes, she got everything (or so we thought). After an hour, two other groups had walked in and been given their full orders and left. We were confused to we asked the waitress where the rest of our food was (only got the appetizer and salad). She said the drunk waitress never put that down and apologized for the miscommunication. We were all cool with that and ordered again after an hour of already waiting for our food. Then we decided that we really weren't in the mood for waiting anymore and cancelled with the manager at the front counter. Upon sitting back down, the waitress came back out and told us that they would make our food on the house because we are regulars and they felt bad, to which we obliged. We then waited in the restaurant for another 45 minutes, watching our friends order, get their food, and eat it in its entirety. I then went back up to the counter to ask the manager where our food was, to which he said that we can cancelled it so they didn't make it. I told him that the waitress said that they would make it on the house due to the situation, and he shook his head and stated that they had comped our appetizer and salad (a whopping total of $13) but not the actual food. We left. I then called and let the manager know that we would not be returning due to the two mix-ups and the fact that we literally waited 2 hours for food. He gave us a half-assed apology and stated that he was stressed out because of the drunk waitress and tried to excuse the situation, but we had already clarified that that wasn't our problem. Bottom line, this situation was one of the worst handled customer service scenarios I have ever been apart of, and no matter how much my wife and I loved Rams Horn, we will...

Going out to eat at this particular Ram's Horn was a good experience from start to finish. The entire staff was both courteous and efficient. The food arrived quickly with no more than 10 minutes passing between the time that we ordered and when we received our food. The waitress was extremely attentive, making sure that we were happy with our meal and we had everything we needed. We like to go out to eat late at night sometimes and this Ram's Horn restaurant is open 24 hours a day. The parking lot is well-lit, clean and there is plenty of space. The dining area was bright, inviting and very clean. When I ordered my mail I was given the choice of two side dishes I did not want any side dish but asked for extra fries. I was not charged an additional cost for the extra fries even though it is normal for Ram's Horn restaurants to charge extra when you request something that is not in the menu. When the food arrived to us it was hot but not over cooked. We left the restaurant with the feeling that we had received good value for the money we had spent.
