Thai House Cuisine — Restaurant in Westland

My son and I had a great experience here. Jennifer, our waitress was exceptional. I was shocked to hear that she did not own the place or was at a minimum family bc she took exceptional care of us. The restaurant is adorable. Up-to-date and clean. The restroom was worse than most gas stations, though. Both of our meals were excellent. Flavorful & presented very well. My cashew chicken I asked for extra water chestnuts, even if there was an extra charge, but there was not one in my meal. That being said, it still was an overall good experience. I’m shocked this place is not busier. The walls, the booth even the windowsills were clean in the dining room. The food was delicious. The portions were fair. Overall a great place for thai! Food is good, the dining room is clean and staff friendly. I have eaten here 4 times now. My wife and I love red and green curry but the only difference between the two here is the vegetables? They are using the same red curry for both it seems and just changing the veg. Also the rice has been over cooked every time to the point of being paste, I just threw the rice away last night when we got carry out. Lastly, the noodles in my pad thai were also over cooked in my opinion. My wife does not agree with me on this point. Lol. Be prepared if you order medium spice because its HOT! Luckily we love hot. With a few minor tweaks this place would definitely rank in my top 5! Hope they do well, we need good restaurants...

I ordered fried rice crab Rangoon instead they gave me noodles and crab Rangoon and when I The man said so what do you want me to do what you want your money back I said no I want my fried rice and I can’t have a refund would not make my order right I’ve never heard of that. I’ve heard of some places that may not give you a refund, but Lis will make your order right So at this point I will never go to this place again because I would not give them money and I don’t know what’s gonna happen to my next order and then I don’t get my money back and then I don’t get to eat it.
