Wendy's — Restaurant in Westland

I almost never leave reviews unless it’s really bad The food wasn’t bad but the customer service was awful and disrespectful. I go in later in the afternoon, (I’m the only car in the drive through and no one was eating inside so there was no way this was a mix up) and I made an order. When I got home I went to eat and realized they had given me the wrong order, which was two small items but charged me for pricer meal I ordered and gave me no receipt. I attempted to call and was going to eat the meal anyways but I heard the worker on the phone scoff and hang up on me before I could even finish speaking. So since it’s down the block I drove back with my food because that’s unprofessional and plain rude. I get there and go through the drive through and speak with a short, blonde, slightly masculine but female worker who was actually really nice and gave me a free lemonade along with my correct order. I believe her name was Lisa so thank you Lisa, but to whoever the manager is, don’t hire employees that make your store look bad. Lisa is the only reason I’m leaving a somewhat good review because of how kind she was.

Now, I’m 21 so I know customer service is exhausting but that was just downright rude and I got really lucky I wasn’t allergic to one of the items on the menu because I do have an allergy to a popular ingredient in food chains, had I gotten that order instead it would’ve been a nightmare. Just came from here and still horrible service I've only been here alot in the past but recently it has been absolutely horrible. The person taking the orders sounds like they don't care about there job and they are having a horrible day but that is whatever I have bad days understanding. The problem was that my order was not completed missing fries nuggets sauces and straws and if you pull forward all door's are locked line going around the building that you already waited a half hour in to wait till your food is cold. So then you get up to the window to try to be polite so nobody will do anything to the food you have not received to finally get the rest of your 30 dollar order to get 1 sauce for a bunch of cold nuggets but one and no straws. I'm not a person that enjoys complaining but last time I was here they substituted the big premium patties for there big burgers for there little $1 ones and all of the food was cold and gross. When you add up the time you spend waiting to the bad personality of the person taking order to going back twice for the rest of the food to the quality not being at the very least normal, you should be paid the employees wages for even going to eat at this sad excuse for an establishment. Absolutely ridiculous, after the THIRD bad experience I will not be returning. My fries and chicken sandwich were cold and tasted so so bad and metalicy if that's even a word. I continually come to this Wendy's in the evening to be greeted by apathetic staff with cold food. It's very upsetting to pay $8 for a meal, treat the employees with respect and not have that respect reciprocated. How would you feel if it were you? Please take this seriously, I know I'm not the only one experiencing lousy service at this location during the evening. Not long ago I went to this Wendy's about 30 minutes before close... 10 minutes in the drive through line went by when all of a sudden all of the lights went off. The woman working there decided she was done and without a word to us all waiting in line for the drive through, she decided to close. It was incredibly rude ! I understand grills need to be shut off but when a sign says you're open til midnight, you are open until midnight period. It was incredibly rude after many of us waited in line for so long, as usual, and there was no polite word of "sorry we need to close down now". I'm tired of this location getting away with absolutely awful customer service on the night shift and I really hope this is taken seriously, please.
