Lien Hoa BBQ — Restaurant in Westminster

In today's economic climate I try to support as much as possible local businesses to help them stay in business. I went to this location of Lien Hoa BBQ today and very much disappointed. I have to say, I have no intention of coming back. I ordered a two-item combo with rice. Usually you can order two items from the BBQ menu but now I was told you can't order roast pork and roast duck with rice. You have to order one roasted item and one from the hot counter. Fine, so I ordered as told. Mind you, there was no sign around stating that, in fact there was no signs at all saying they even offer items with rice. Story short, tab was over $13 .. First time at this particular location. I’ve been to two other locations. This one has all male workers and they’re not as rude as the other locations. Still loud but not rude rude. But then again, it’s not intentional, it’s just how they communicate.

Aside from that, I don’t taste any difference and found the recipe to be consistent in all locations. You can rest assure that your roasted duck from any location will taste the same.

To me, they have the best roast duck and their items are affordable. You can also bring your own turkey to get a roasted turkey for thanksgiving. You can also order a whole pig...

These people will lie to you just to make a dollar. We asked for 2 separate orders of chicken, 1lb each. The worker responded we have to get 2lbs each with total 4lbs. We told them that would be too much food, we won't be getting it. They immediately said how about 3lbs total, 1.5lbs per order. I agreed!! When we went to pay, each order was 1.9lbs total 3.8lbs. We don't mind the extra money, but it's just too much food and it will be wasted. These people are the worse customer service, and very unethical.
