TLDR; prepare to be exceedingly disappointed. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. When I walked in, another customer was at the counter talking to the employee, so I waited more than 6 feet away. Turns out, the other customer was just waiting, but the employee ignored me. Another customer entered a couple minutes after me and got service almost immediately by another employee. The waiting customer walked away, so I approached the counter. The employee behind the counter was focused on putting utensils and condiments into two plastic bags, so I was ignored for several more minutes (not exaggerating the time). Finally, I was told my order, which was placed four hours ago, was not quite ready even though I was exactly on time for the pickup. Ten minutes later I was on my way home with my order. Two soups were in one bag. The other bag contained an appetizer and two "entrees"., and weighed about as much as one medium no-meat salad. The rubbery, overcooked Stuffed Mushrooms ranged in size from a quarter to a half-dollar. My Stuffed Shrimp "entree" was a single medium sized butterflied shrimp with a golf-ball sized "crab cake". Think "amuse bouche" instead of "entree". The "crab cake" had nearly zero identifiable crab meat - almost all filler. The photo of the "Stuffed Shrimp" entree on the website (included in my review for comparison) showed THREE stuffed shrimp. Even if there were three, it would still be appetizer sized. The Stuffed Mushrooms also had a much more flattering photo on the website. I think this practice is known as "bait and switch". The Maryland Crab and Cream of Crab soups were OK - and no better than OK. I will confess that I am partially culpable, since I did not pay sufficient attention to the prices. In retrospect, the prices, at least for the "entrees", were suspiciously low (and yet still overpriced).

Not at all impressed. I was in the area and decided to get a quick Seafood lunch. The 6 oz jumbo lump crab cake was $14.99 and was woefully under seasoned. I had to add salt just to give it some flavor. A Sprinkle of Old Bay would have went a long way with this crab cake. But what really solidified the terrible experience for me was the cream of crab soup. I would not describe it as a soup at all. It was more like a gel or a slime consistency. Not creamy at all. I took a single bite before tossing it out. Just awful. Would not recommend

Disappointed doesn't begin to describe this experience. I'm not sure if we went on a bad day or what. The crabs were dry. I'm talking crab jerky. Many of the crabs were pretty light as well. The cream of crab soup and the crab pretzel were good but the steamed crabs and the service were pretty bad. The guy who took our order walked past us about 10 times before even looking in our direction. I'd heard such good things about this place from friends. We will not be returning.

Today being Friday I got a Dozen Crabs from Blue Point, Medium at $45.... Now I realize that the season is early and that sometimes you get 1 or 2 that aren't so good... (empty) but today there was only ONE crab/ YES ONE Crab that had meat in it.. so out of 12 crabs I had just ONE that was good.. There is no doubt that they can tell when they are putting the crabs into the POT weather they were good or not...If that wasn't bad enough, I live just 2 miles from the shopping center and these crabs were barely warm, usually the car windows would steam up, I did call and complain and all the young man said well you can bring them back, I was not going back because it was raining ... No apology jin fact I can almost say he hung up on me, guess he didn't like me complaining... I realize now that they are the only place in town to get crabs;, but after today I am thinking that the Crab Malott isn't really that far and Hampstead either for that matter... A Very unhappy customer..... I didn't buy the crabs my son did on his way home from work, had it been me those crabs would not have left the store... Cold and empty crabs not not make for a...

We happened to look up crab places in Westminster so we put in an order On Line. We had our hearts hoping it would be hot, seasoned well and be large crab legs. It does say, King Crab legs. Maybe the lady that served us had a bad day but she wasn't pleasant at all. What matters more if the foods good. The food was hot and it was still warm when we got it home. We asked for butter AND Old Bay Seasoning. This is what disappointed us the most, there wasn't a drop of Old Bay on any of it! It was DROWNED in "butter" or what ever they used. Everything was SO Greasy and had no flavor to it. I Poured off the "butter" off of everything and then rinsed it. It was almost a whole bowls worth, of "butter". I ran out of Old Bay at home so I couldn't add any to it. The crab legs were so Small and the corn on the cob was just terrible. The sausage had no flavor and the mussels were griddy. I Don't normally leave reviews but this...
