Dante's Serious Ice Cream — Restaurant in Westminster

Ice cream was okay but the service was bad. The server made me a float and the coke exploded after poured into the cup so the foam was spilling out over the cup. I grabbed napkins to start cleaning and it just kept coming out. None of them offered to make another one, nor did they apologize, but all 3 were laughing while watching it happen. It left stains on my shirt when I started trying to clean it. The server asked if I “wanted a cup to put that in” referring to the foam coming out from the top of the cup ? I’m not sure why I would want to keep the coke foam ? She also didn’t know what she had made originally saying “whose is this?” to us and us having to figure out which ice cream was in it. This all happened right at the counter. We then sat inside to have our ice cream and the 3 workers continued discussing the coke exploding while laughing and then were discussing the flavors we picked and one said “that is such a weird combination of flavors!” While we were sitting right there. I felt very disrespected the entire time. I know they are young and this is likely their first job, however I would think it’s common sense in a work place to treat the people...

We tried Dante's Serious Ice Cream for the first time last night! I had the Ube ice cream along with a delicious scoop of the lavender and honey ice cream. My friend tried a more traditional pairing of strawberry and mint chocolate chip. Both offerings were incredible, with perfect flavors and the ideal ice cream consistency! The ube flavor (my first time trying this Filipino favorite) was well crafted and a delicious surprise. The lavender and honey ice cream was also a well-crafted gift to my taste buds! The traditional ice cream offerings, according to my friend, were spot-on delicious and some of the best that she has tried in our area. Not only does Dante's offer a wide array of daily flavors to tickle your sweet needs, they also partner with local charities and give back a portion of their sales to help out non-profit groups. Nestled on the east side of Home Depot, Dante's offers a fun break from the hustle-bustle of life with a bright and clean place to gather and enjoy some delicious...

The place is bright, open, and clean! One cool thing they do is, they give you 3 nickels per ice cream you buy to donate to a charity. When I went, they had 3 choices and it was fun to read about the organizations and what they do!

The only downside I have, is you do have to be prepared to wait. We were only 2nd in line and we waited 20 minutes because there was only one person working the counter so it’s understandable she’d get backed up. I appreciated that she took her time but she did make quite a few mistakes, including overcharging me. But I did appreciate she was upfront, apologized and explained how I’d be refunded.

And the flavors are delicious! We wanted to try them all but decided to only pick our top 4!
