Food was a priority for my husband and I when planning for our wedding - we couldn't even start looking at venues until we knew who we would be booking for catering since it could affect where we'd be able to book the wedding.

We knew we wanted to have the traditional 8 course meal of Chinese-Vietnamese dishes for our 200+ guests without having our wedding at a banquet hall. We had heard of Furiwa from our friends who had booked them for their wedding and so looked into them as well. We loved the dish options that they offered. Also, Vivian was so great to work with during the planning process; very friendly, professional, and responsive to emails!

The tasting event that they hosted helped us to really fine tune our menu. They also allowed our planner to come with us to the tasting to help us out, which was a bonus!

The hors d'oeuvres, the courses, the late night congee bar on the day of our wedding were so so good and everything we could have wished for. Our parents loved the food as well, even had some of the leftovers the next day and still thought it was delicious. I worked with Furiwa for a welcome event on May 23 at The Meadows in Lake Forest, and they couldn’t have been better to work with!!
