Whoever was working tonight on 10/29, a female and a male, good job! Keep your head up and keep working hard! Despite all the frustrated customers you had tonight, you still managed to smile. I felt so bad that I was about to come in the back and help you out myself. I ordered online at 6:45 and showed up at 7:00 for pick up only to see that my order hadn't even been started. There were several other people inside waiting for their orders and only two employees in the shop. There were a slew of online/DoorDash/UberEats orders on the counter and the two employees were rushing around, doing the best they could to keep up with them on top of the walk in orders.The third employee, like WAY too many employees nowadays, decided not to show up and who knows where the manager was, but someone needed to step up and help them out! I could instantly assess the situation when I walked in and knew that getting frustrated and becoming rude would not have helped anything, but instead made things worse for those poor employees. They kept calm and remained as upbeat as they could considering the situation. Please know that you were seen and I hope your weekend goes much better than your Friday night. Read moreI have heard that jersey mikes are franchised which would explain why this particular location was not anywhere as good as previous jersey mikes subs l've had from other locations.
I really love jersey mikes but this location always tends to mess up my order and the subs just dont taste as good. The vibe of the employees is also very cold. The guy had AirPods in and when I came in he didn't really acknowledge me, greet me, or smile/say hi. I had to go out of my way to get his attention (and there was literally nobody else in the restaurant) Sounds like I'm not the only one that had this experience after reading other reviews.
The sub was sub par compared to when l've had JM from other spots. It just wasn’t made the same way as it was when I’ve had it elsewhere. They forgot my side condiment request and used the wrong bread.
All while I tipped them on the online order beforehand too.
Hopefully whoever runs this particular franchise takes notice and makes some adjustments. I have hope that this will happen. I believe in second chances and hope to...
Read moreEdited, star count is my second minus my first review. The owner responded within 16 hrs with concern why the grill was shut down early. Very kind, apologetic, and offered a coupon to compensate. This location closes the grill a full 30 minutes before closing, even with 5 customers in the establishment. Also did not inform 3 of us separately that they were out of bacon, until they just left it off and said they were out when I reminded them my sandwich is supposed to have both bacon and mayo, which they forgot at first. They even went so far as to tell a couple that had never eaten at Jersey Mike's that while the grill was closed they could get any cold sub. Silent about bacon until I warned the couple their sandwich was supposed to have it as well. Jersey Mike's is already overpriced for what is essentially cold cuts. But definitely so when they leave out the bacon, now you're just paying for convenience. Bacon can also last once cooked for a longg time, even at room temperature, so there is no excuse for ever being out, it can just be used...
