We were VERY disappointed in the service our young waitress gave to us on 8 june19. She was very nice but needs to listen better and write things down. My wife is VERY VERY picky about lemons on the side of a cup. And she always asks for a bunch of lemons on a "PLATE". If they are not it ruins the whole evening. Also if my wife is eatting a salad for dinner. It means that she didnot order an extra salad to eat before her main salad comes and does not want here salad to come out before everyone else meal. Also no extra olives or anchovies. Another thing dont tell her that the rolls in the back are stale and you will give us ones to take home. More then once my wife was going to ask for the manager and the owners (who I've known and designed shirts for, for years) but I stopped her. I full understand and can see how frustrated our young waitress was getting. My wife was not going to leave a tip. But I gave her a 12$ tip anyway. But she really needs to get better at her job. Next time I will not leave one.

So a nice after birthday dinner for my wife turn into a horrible dining experience just cause our waitress didnt write things down or follow directions. Will not be coming back for a very long time. I hope management see this and gives this waitress more training.

If you go eat at this restaurant. The food is excellent. I love the liguen and clams in white sauce. But make sure the waitress reads back your order and comes back to ask if you would like another...

I've been 3 times now. The first time our waiter wasn't the best, but the food was good. The second time I had ordered carry out. Food was hot and prepared as ordered. The 3rd time we went, we had a party of 7 with us, 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. When we first arrived, it was pretty empty and they asked us if the booth would be ok. We said we would have preferred a table so we could have a little more elbow room with having so many people. At first, she started to look for a spot to sit us, there was a lady with short brown curly hair who came out and started getting very frustrated. It seemed she wasn't happy that we didn't want to sit in a booth. She was also acting as if she didn't want us to sit at a table either. Finally, the waitress and the lady came to an agreement and let us choose a table that was in the back. I could understand if the Restaurant was full, but it wasn't. I almost left due to the way she was acting. I felt like she was either the owner or a manager. Anyway, after we were seated, the waitress was quick to help us with drinks and our order. She was knowledgeable and very pleasant. She knew the menu and offered suggestions. I would recommend eating here still as the food was great and it came out fast. We all got Crab Cakes, which are really good and our kids got chicken fingers. Next time, I feel as if I should call ahead to ensure they're ok with seating us. Again, still strange because there was literally no-one...

We came here with a party of four for dinner last night and three out of our of us were disappointed in the meals served. The only meal that was good was the Mussel Appetizer but even then some of the mussels were old and shouldn't have been served. We started by ordering a full bottle of wine which the server never brought until after our meals were served as we had to remind her. It went downhill from there. The Penne Capricosa was served with enough marinara sauce to complete 4 entrees, with sauce going from brim to brim on the plate. Very overpowering but reasonable good flavor. The Chicken Maximo had the chicken and angel hair pasta literally swimming in a butter/wine sauce and we drained more than a half cup of liquid off the plate. Just looking at it being served, it was not appetizing at all. As with the Penne dish above, less would have been more. My Calabrese Panini had way overcooked chicken and I ordered it on homemade Focaccia, which after snacking on the rolls I was looking forward to. Instead it came on what appeared to be flat pizza dough, cooked with no color and no taste whatsoever. Needless to say we expressed our concerns to the waitress and she basically just shrugged her shoulders, said 'Enjoy' and walked away never to be seen again until we flagged her down for the check.
