The place is clean and the atmosphere is nice. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of free parking. I ordered a large iced Americano and a bagel breakfast sandwich. My friend ordered a medium latte and the same breakfast sandwich. I literally could not drink the coffee because it was so bitter. I enjoy bold and strong coffee but this was a clearly bitter taste. I tried everything including cream sugar etc. I decided to ask the staff for some syrup to see if that would make it tolerable. When I approach the counter and asked if she had some sugar-free syrup she said " what is it too bitter." Clearly this is an issue. She never offered once to make me another drink. At the end of our visit when I brought my items to the counter to clear my table she could see my drink was completely full and still never offered to make another drink or even mentioned it she simply dumped it out. The Americano was $6.50 base price, which is high for a very simple drink. They have no cream options available other than half and half. When I asked for something alternative I was given a curt answer saying that it was half and half or nothing. The bagel itself was ok it was a standard store made everything bagel. The egg was a pre-made egg patty. They toasted the bagel but there was literally no seasoning and no spread of any type on the sandwich which left you with dry bagel and a very plain tasting premade egg. I get the use of a pre-made egg it is a coffee shop and I believe that that is acceptable however there are things that you can do to make even pre-made items taste better such as provide some sort of spread, sauce, seasoning etc. They had absolutely no condiments whatsoever available for the sandwich not even something as simple as ketchup. Considering this is a coffee shop I think the coffee should be excellent and at the center point of attention. This coffee was absolutely terrible and the service provided no relief or alternative when they saw that it was undrinkable. Our total bill was about $26...a...
Read moreIt's a real shame to write a bad review for a once favorite coffee shop. The original owners ran this coffee shop very well. There was always regular customers, always busy, great atmosphere and dang good coffee. Customer service was always on point. The old owners sold this shop at the beginning of this year, i hope the best for them, good people. This new owner is a kind lady for the most part, but unfortunately she is so stingy, all the old baristas had quit to find better work elsewhere. A few, who me and my husband are acquainted with, informed me that she goes to Starbucks to order pre ground coffee in bulk, but raised the price(didn't bother to change the prices on the board). Its always so uncomfortably quiet now, i no longer see the return customers, its no longer a busy place. The owner herself has stated she doesn't drink coffee. Which is all well and fine, but due to this lack of experience doesn't make the coffee right. It always either doesn't taste good or chemically(completely unpalatable) or simply gives you the wrong coffee. Even Starbucks is better than this. It's been six months now and she still hasn't figured it out. She refuses to remake the coffee and gives her customers a hard time for refunds. The tables are always dirty.. so they must never get bussed dispite how slow it is. The very last time we went there, my nephew (18) ordered himself a coffee. She was giving him a hard time for "being too young" for coffee and almost wouldn't sell it to him. We will be looking for a more competent coffee shop. It's a real shame.. and as I read through the recent reviews, we are not only in these sad...
Read moreA nice quiet cafe with very friendly staff. You know the coffee is good when you see people posted in a corner with a laptop and groups of people using this as a meet up spot. Lots of seating and even some comfy, cushioned chairs. I stopped here while waiting to get my car fixed. The location is nearby some dealerships and not a bad walk to get some food and coffee. I spotted they have burritos on their Yelp page. If I hadn't seen their Yelp, I might not have know they offer burritos, as it is advertised on small sign taped to the counter, not on their chalk board hanging behind the counter. That being said, they were delicious! Bacon burrito and Chorizo burrito hit the spot. A great ratio of filling to tortilla with eggs, onion, and potato if I remember correctly. Try their blueberry lavender matcha! A blended drink that tastes almost like a blueberry muffin. It was a nice treat to beat the heat. I felt very well taken care of when a barista brought my order to where I was sitting and wished me a good day. I was expecting my name to be shouted from the counter, and it was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was friendly, excellent service from the moment I...
