Me and my fiance made a to-go order and bought a filet steak hibachi and I got a shrimp hibachi. The steak was over-cooked and tasted burnt and got 7 nibbles of steak. The vegetables were mainly mushrooms and sliced carrots the fried rice was a half of serving along with the noodles I got. It didn't even fill us up. And on top of that we had to wait an hour and had nobody in the restaurant so I dont know why it took so long to get our food when they said it would ve ready in 30 minutes. Plus we paid over $50 for 2 meals that didnt even fill us up! I dont know why they would even have ONE (1) good review because the service and quality that we received was down right terrible! There's NO WAY WE WILL EVWR GO BACK TO THAT RESTAURANT EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST PLACE TO EAT IM THE WORLD! Oh yea and to top it off i called and asked to speak with a manager and they put the phone on the counter and all I could hear was the background and so I tried to call back and they blocked my number! I really am thinking about calling the BBB to report the treatment I received from...

Cold scallops on a Hibachi Lunch plate accompanied by some skimpy, leftover looking, poorly cut vegetables with too much soy sauce. Fried rice served with it was alright, and a generous portion. Miso soup was better than the usual lunch special soup, but salad was watery iceberg lettuce bits. Iced green tea was better than what's usually served in "Japanese" restaurants in the area. I didn't try the sushi, but the menu only featured those Americanized, overstuffed rolls full of things like fake crab, fried tempura bits, cream cheese and sauces....definitely not in the realm of authentic Japanese sushi. I will not dine there again due to lack of authenticity. PS I lived in Japan for decades and will return soon to live there permanently. I know Japanese food....

I was excited to find they opened here after being a huge fan of their location in Kenner. Absolutely did not disappoint.
Walk in and immediately greeted by Mr. Johnny and rest of staff. Everyone so polite and attentive.
Ordered 3 rolls, Johnny Special, Marilyn Monroe (personal favorite from their other location) and Special eel. All 3 fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. Portion vs price are very fair and perfect.
Just do yourself a favor, if your a sushi fan you won't find better or fresher. 1000% recommend and will now be my dinner spot of choice...
