I was very excited shopping in JCPenney for Christmas especially while seeing a lot of buy one get one 50% off deals on great brands like Levi's, Which was not the case it was very misleading not only was they advertising the buy one get one 50% off they was also advertising the 25% off on everything so when I made the purchase I received the 25% off but not the buy one get one 50% off. I question them about it and all they could tell me was you're not the first customer to ask that and they sent me to go to the customer service who told me oh they're only on the 505 Levi's and not the 501s they're excluded mind you I did have the 505s I didn't even have 501s and also even if I was to get the 501s they literally had the deal posted on each table on each shelf by each pair of Levi's and on the tag itself it literally had it marked down to $25 which I took a picture for proof to show them but everything misleading $69 - 25%, which was $52 for the 505s customer service cannot explain it and they just want to say do you want to refund I was just kept being reminded that I was not the first customer to ask for explanations. I also paid half cash and have Visa gift card and instead of they give me my cash back the way I paid they put everything back on a Visa gift card and leaving me having to wait for the money to get back on my card I do not understand why they cannot give me back the money the way that I paid. All of the sell's everywhere draws you in and if you're not paying attention you don't realize that it's just false advertisement to draw you in. While I was in line to address my problem you literally have customers screaming and hollering about the same problem to customer service that should have been my cue right there to know what was up I love JCPenney's but they are very unorganized misleading and customer service is horrible. I really hope you fix this cuz at this point I'll just go...
Read moreDO NOT BUY JEWELRY ONLINE! They work with 3rd party vendors and any information you see on the website should not be trusted as JC Penny cannot provide any information on your order. I placed an order on 2/14/24 for a tennis bracelet as a 35th anniversary gift for my wife expecting I was buying through an establishment I could trust. It's an expensive item so I wanted to be sure it was exactly right and she was so excited. The item was stated as in stock with a ship date of the next day. The warranty was billed immediately but after over a week, the item still hadn't shipped. Concerned it hadn't shipped after nearly two weeks I called several times to check progress. Each time I was told sorry it's a 3rd party vendor give it a couple more days. Finally, I demanded they reach out to the vendor and get an update given the item continues to show available online and they were putting a hold on my credit card every couple of days for the balance. I was assured I would hear back in 24-72 hours and still nothing. Unacceptable customer service and misleading sales tactics. There is no balance on the credit card and each transaction on the card is approved and puts a new hold for the balance on the card (which would be ok if it were shipping). Yes, I requested text and email updates to no avail. Sad really, we've patronized the store for years but after this fiasco, never again. And yes, I've now got a warranty on an item I don't possess. Feels a lot like fraud on multiple levels. Customer service reps are friendly but either unable or...
Read moreThis is a nice store located in the Acadiana mall, they have 2 floors, with the junior and kids sections being on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor also contains luggage and toys mainly Disney from my experience, bedding, and applicances. The first floor has men and women clothing along with shoes and jewelry. I find that the pricing is decent and that they often are running sales. If you are looking for a nice pair of dress pants for cheap go here. One negative note, since the mall was recently bought out by a new owner if found that the condition of the mall though not bad has changed. I was in there the other day and something about the palace was off. I recall it felt almost humid, not really hot just like a damp humid feeling as if mositure was in the air. I threw me off and I ended up leaving the store. I still recommend the place just be aware that you may run into similar conditions. I forgot to mention that this location also has restrooms on the 2nd floor back by luggage, this used to be a receptionist and returns area. They also have a photo studio there as well. The eye glass place shutdown a little over a year ago if I am remembering correct. Directly next to that is the elevator bank which comes out to the West wing of the store if you go down it by the...
