The last time they failed me utterly, I decided not to write a review, thinking that it might not be worth the effort to describe. However, they have managed to demonstrate the worst customer service of any place I've seen, outside of TV dramas of course. Frankly, I think the only reason they're still in business at all is because people are fooled into thinking that they are anything like the other Pizza Hut franchises around. Spolier alert: They aren't. I placed an order for a pizza around 9:20 and they gave me an ETA of 1 hour. At 10:50, knowing that they would be closing soon and they were a half an hour late, I called them to see if I couldn't find out more information. I understand it was a Monday and they may be busy, likewise it's late so they may be one of the only places open, though perhaps they should say that they close at 9 PM so they won't have to take orders after that - this seems to be a recurring problem for them. Anyway, I waited on the phone for 15 full minutes, only to have them pick up the phone and then immediately hang up without talking with me, twice. Hopefully they refunded my money when they decided not to send my pizza for whatever reason but, unfortunately, as of the time of writing this review I have no evidence of that. In summary: Pizza Hut: If you're reading this review, I heartily recommend you close this location as soon as it is practical. This franchise does little else except it drags your good name into the dirt. If you redirect me by phone to this location when I try to call the other, better locations again, I will take that as a sign that you are simply uninterested in my business. I'll gladly choose Blackjack, Dominos or even Little Ceasar's before I'll order from this location again.
Update: I talked to the manager the next afternoon to cancel my order (perhaps that was a bit snarky of me); he informed me that it hadn't actually been put into their system. Read moreI do not complain, I am never picky, and I have never asked for a refund before. This was my very first time for all three. We were staying at the Marriott 1.4 miles away, so we ordered a pizza and a drink around 8:25 thinking it would take 20 maybe 30 minutes to get it. At 9:30, the website said our pizza had been delivered.... and there was no pizza insight. So, we called the restaurant to see what was up and get an ETA. (Mistakes happen, I get it, maybe they went to a different hotel-- no big deal.) The sweet girl at the front answers and says she will ask the manager. Five minutes later, another lady gets on the phone and is fairly short and rude. She says the driver said he has already delivered the pizza, but she is going to hang up on us, call him, and then call us back. We hang up. Two minutes later, the delivery guy FINALLY shows up. I called the store to let them know that he's finally here, but we've been waiting over an hour and we are hungry and frustrated (remember, this Pizza Hut is just over 1 mile away from us) and we would really like some kind of compensation. Manager lady gets on the phone, says she's already refunded us, tells me to have a good night, and hangs up on me. All in all, crappy service-- inconsiderate, untimely, rude, and unfriendly. Read moreSo I try to give this location the benefit of the doubt I have ordered from them quite a few times which is my fault the first time my nephew orders a pizza and a soda while I'm at work the dude never even gives him a soda took the full payment for the order and just never brought him back the soda after he told him second incident I ordered two pizzas the delivery guy at night first of all it took him almost 2 hours to bring the pizzas that were cold the boxes were smashed and my pizon was so disgusting and full of tomato sauce third incident recently I order two thin crust pizzas and it was the five double up my order came to 20.62 well he brings the wrong pizzas I called and let them know you know not only did he bring the wrong pizzas but it took an hour and a half to bring it, mind you the Pizza Hut is on 78th and im on 82nd not very far so today i call her because after that incident with the wrong Pizza she gave me a $25 credit and which I decided to use but I decided to do carry out this time because their delivery guy is not delivering pizza apparently I called and talk to the employee/manager she had an attitude about me Redeeming the $25 credit because they were busy I never really dealt with them other then delivery because I order online but now after all these incidents in a month span I won't be dealing with them anymore good luck and for some of these employees I see why they're working...
