So where should I start...

Serve your guests water. I don’t care if we didn’t order it, you should standardize serving water always. We live in a desert climate. Serve water regardless of any drink we order. Serve water to your guests before they can even order any drinks.

If you are serving boba with tapioca pearls, most consumers sort of expect more tapioca pearls than just barely covering the bottom of a pint glass.

This is just my opinion but the two habenero rolls need help. I love spicy food, especially Thai spicy food that makes me sweat/cry but that smoked habenero sauce just outright sucks. Redo the sauce completely and replace it with a sweetened soy habenero or pineapple habenero sauce. Those rolls were really missing something sweet to cut the smoke/salted taste, and when I dipped the seared habenero one into the sweetened soy from the caterpillar roll it really saved the roll so I could actually stomach the disaster of that roll.

Sashimi... Shouldn’t taste fishy. I know we are land locked so I’ll let it slide. Sashimi should also be easier to eat. When we have to tear it apart with our teeth and it doesn’t just melt in our mouths or tear easily then it’s just poor quality or you are cutting it wrong. You could make the pieces smaller and more bite size and still keep the same portion size while making it friendlier to eat.

Lastly, what’s with the sesame seeds? Why were sesame seeds on every single roll and our sashimi. Knock it off. The over abundance of sesame seeds was overkill. Don’t put sesame seeds on sashimi. Period.

Long time sushi lover here. Got delivery and their sushi was not good. I ordered nigiri and 2 specialty rolls, as well as 2 miso soups. They only gave the driver 1 soup to deliver. The salmon nigiri does not look or taste like the salmon that I have had at any other sushi place. Salmon has that distinctive taste that I can't describe.....this was not it. It just wasn't good. And it's a strange lite orange color, it looks off. I'm not even going to finish it. The inferno roll was really bad. And the cheese streak roll has too much mayo. The cooked kobe beef on the cheese steak roll was the best tasting thing in our whole order. So maybe their cooked food is good? My wife just said that she has never had bad sushi, ever until today. They trick you into using door dash. I would not have ordered if I knew it was door dash. Also, I called to let them know that I only received 1 soup(ordered 2). The guy on the phone said that I could go pick it up. I told him that he could just refund the money for the soup back onto my card, but he wouldn't do that. I ordered delivery so that I wouldn't have to go pick it up, obviously. I won't order from this place again. We were surprised at how bad this was. I stopped by after going to the gym for dinner. The place was almost empty. I walked to the back counter and asked to make a "to-go" order. They handed me a menu and had me fill it out with a sharpie. As she entered my order into an iPad I said I wanted some spicy mayo. She said "that costs extra". They then told me my order would take 20 minutes. I stepped out to order some wings next door as well. When I came back 10 minutes later and sat on a bench by the door the woman was finishing glutting my order in a bag. She pointed at the bag and would not bring it to me. I got up and walked back to get my food. Checking my order of extremely small sushi rolls with very little fish in them, no spicy mayo in my bag, upset and not wanting to argue with the rude staff I left the restaurant.
