I usually enjoy eating at Wendy’s, but my most recent experience was incredibly frustrating. I placed a very simple order: a sandwich with no tomato and no mayonnaise. I even double-checked with the cashier to make sure those changes were noted. They nodded and assured me it would be made the way I asked.
When I got my food and sat down to eat, I noticed immediately that there was a big slice of tomato right on the sandwich—exactly what I asked them to leave off. Not only that, but it was also slathered in mayonnaise, which I specifically said I didn’t want. It might seem like a small thing to some people, but I have dietary preferences (and honestly, I just hate mayonnaise). It completely ruined the taste of the sandwich for me.
I had to take it back to the counter, and although the staff remade it, there was no apology, no acknowledgment that they’d made a mistake. I had to wait again while my friends were already eating, and by the time I got my corrected sandwich, I wasn’t even hungry anymore.
Wendy’s has good food, but experiences like this really affect customer trust. If someone takes the time to customize their order, it should be respected. I hope they train their staff to pay more attention moving forward. This isn’t just about a tomato—it’s about caring enough to...

Read moreCame with my 6 year old son who has sensory and emotional disabilities. He had a couple spills and was a bit loud a few times, typically he would've gotten upset feeling guilty or embarrassed. Which is why we can rarely eat out. The staff was so nice about everything. My son didn't feel overwhelmed, he even felt comfortable enough to go up and tell them about spilling his drink. He wasn't nervous at all about asking for their help to clean up because of how nice they'd been to him. They even had aspecial needs girl on staff who had ahard time with her speech and they manager himself was being very supportive of her. Even when she made asmall mistake that you could tell she was upset with the manager was still very comforting and reassuring and helped her correct it. I will definitely return to this restaurant. It's rare to find that level of customer service and I'm thoroughly impressed with the...
