Furama Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Westwood

The rice didn't taste or smell that good. The place was so hot with no ac and l have to say today was the hottest day, very muggy and draining. If the rice was sitting, waiting to get fried, then it was way to hot that it would go bad fast. So it was very plain and not tasty at all. The wings were good because it was just fried. The pork boneless ribs didn't taste fresh and was very chewy. The sauce was ok. I'm not exaggerating but they seriously need to do something about the overall taste and presentation of the food that they serve. I had to add soy sauce and even Sriracha sauce but that didn't help much. Just the thought of eating a rice that might be going bad made it hard for me to swallow. It wasn't even "doable". It was just a disappointment. 2 orders of fried rice with wings and a side of boneless pork ribs for $27.99. Way too expensive for a meal that l barely ate and...

Food was ok..but the young obnoxious guy behind the counter was a rude little #$%!. And i will never go back again especially because of that. I bought 16.00 worth of food on crdeit card and when i saw that they sold a drink i liked i went tk go buy 2 . I gave him my credit card and hes like 8.00 minimum...and i was like i just spent 16.00. He then argued that he asked me if i wanted a drink why didnt i get before?.!!!!!????. The nerve of that little terd arguing with me and being so petty when im a customer. Obviously they dont value their customers and care more about a credit card charge. I never go back anywhere when im treated badly...

A solid if unspectacular Chinese takeout offering. They have some of the lowest prices in the area, which make up for some of the gaps in food quality and taste.

If I wanted to impress someone with the best local Chinese, I wouldn't necessarily order from Furama, but if I'm on a budget and want to enjoy generous portions, I would go here. Their wings and fries combo (not what you'd think to get at a Chinese restaurant) is an amazing value.
