My son, daughter, and I showed up to this location at around 10:20 PM last night and ordered a chicken tender meal, strawberry creame cheese pie, and a number two for $20.02There was no one in line and there had not been no one in the lawn for quite a while(I was across the street visiting a friend and could see the restaurant from where I was.) He was the main reason I chose to go there because I assumed that I would be giving fresh food without having to ask. They weren’t going to be closing until 11 PM. I received my order quicker than it took me to place it which prompted me to check it out. I realized that they gave us food that was extremely cold tough and texture so cold that the cheese could not even melt on the meal. I asked them could we please have fresh food the cashier frowned and asked me why. I told her that the food was completely inedible. The line cook was standing with her looking equally confused why we wouldn’t just take the food. I asked them both if they would spend $20 on food that they couldn’t eat, is old,and has been sitting up?The cook smacked his lips & they walked away and had a private conversation that Im pretty sure I could hear. Cashier: “ughhh man she doing too much” Cook: “man f that lady” & they came back & told me that they would be willing to give us fresh fries as a compromise but thats it because they had already turned their grill off for the day. So I asked them’ “Does your manager tell you to turn off the grill almost an hour before closing? The cook stepped up and rudely Sai” yeah sho do”! He then said in a tone insinuating that I was not smart enough to understand: We have a grill and a grill hashas to be cleaned. As the cashier laughed. At that point I knew that even if they could remake a meal for me that it would most likely not be safe anyway so I asked for a refund. The manager then came around reassuring the same attitude and energy as her staff when I asked her if it was true about the grill she scoffed & asked me if I had been given back when I paid for my meal, I had not I paid exact price. I was confused and asked what the nature of the question was for and she answered that she was trying to make sure she gave me back the right amount, let me know that she was going to attempt to do the math in her head which was not going to be good math because whether she gave me change back or not with not making a difference if she’s only refunding me exactly what I paid for the food. I didn’t want to make it seem like she didn’t know basic math (even though it’s evident that she doesn’t) I just said OK I understand and took my money and left. I will not be returning this is not my first bed situation with this particular location I am just fed up with them at this point and decided to leave a review and it’s always the night crew with the manager with the extra small natural ponytail that resembles the tail of a Robin or a Bluejay.(I only put that info in about her hair because she either takes off her name tag or makes it where you can’t see it when an issue has arises because she handles them very poorly and unprofessionally and I’m assuming she does not want to be reported for such behavior. Since I don’t know her name, and I don’t want to describe her body type. I thought that describing her hair would be the most distinctive way to describe her since it is a hairstyle that stands out. Hopefully it’s enough information so that the corporate office can know who she is. Please retrain her...
Read moreI was passing through the area and looking for somewhere to eat when I saw Jack's. I love Jack's so that's where I decided to stop and I couldn't have made a worse choice! Apparently these workers HATE their job and IT SHOWS!!!! I went through the drive-thru and the girl taking my order had an attitude the entire time. When she told me they were out of ranch I simply ask "what do you have?" To which she replies "EVERYTHING!" I'm sorry but what is "EVERYTHING?" Then when I get to the window and paid she gives me my food and I was missing half the order! So I'm like "I was supposed to have 2 ice creams" and she says "oh I didn't ring you up for that" so while I'm waiting for her to ring me up for that I decided I better check my order.... good thing I did because they didn't have the correct sauce in the bag. Now here is the real kicker... there were 2 sauces for each meal in the bags she gave me but when I handed her all 4 of them back she only comes back with 2 so I ask if I could please get the other 2 sauces to which another girl replies "It's going to be .27 each" and I tell her that I had given the other girl all 4 of the ones we had and then she proceeds to tell me "oh well there is only supposed to be 1 in each bag!" I'm sorry but that wasn't my fault that yall put 2 in each bag to begin with and it isn't my fault that yall put the wrong sauce either! If you hate your job that much go get a...
Read moreVery disappointed in my order today. We chose Jack's over Popeyes cuz I remembered the chicken strips I had last time we're big and hot, fresh, and delicious. We have been to Jack's several times before and it's always been great with food and service. I don't know if today was just an off day or what, but it was horrible today with the exception of the fries. Me and my son both got the chicken tender snack which is three chicken tenders with an order of fries and the sauce. Two of my chicken tenders looked like one chicken tender broke in half, and did not seem to be fresh, like it always had been before. My son's chicken tenders were also small and kind of scrawny, and the honey mustard they gave us looks like botulism warmed over. Honestly I cannot believe they gave us a sauce that looked the way that it does. I should have gone to Wendy's, which is where we went to get my daughter's food. I showed the girl at the drive-thru of Wendy's the honey mustard sauce that Jack's gave me and asked her if she would eat it, which of course she said no. And she was gracious enough to give me a honey mustard so that I can eat my chicken from Jack's. Not sure if I will be back, and if I do go back it will probably be a while. Learn from my mistake and just...
