Five Guys — Restaurant in Weymouth

I just had the strangest experience at the five guys here in Weymouth. I was using a gift card and the poor cashier didn't know how to ring it in. I know they're a new store but this cashier has waited on me before so I would think she'd know how to do a gift card. But no no problem. She asked someone for help so girl behind the counter came out and tried to swipe the gift card like five times. I suggested you may have to punch it in and this person said to me oh I can't do that. I don't have time to do that. I'm on the counter. To myself mentally I was like excuse me. So I asked for the gift card back and told them to cancel the order and I just went to the five guys in Hanover. The amount of time she was taking to try to explain to the cashier how to make the card work. She could have punched it in. Also her answer was rather rude. I get that she's not the trainer obviously but she could have called the manager over or got somebody else to help this poor cashier. I felt really bad for the cashier cuz she did nothing wrong was an old Asian woman and she's always very polite in everything when I'm there. However, the other person's rude comment. I was excited to try the 5 guys that just opened near my house last night after getting off from a long bar shift because the location in Hanover is great but this place is disappointing at best. When I arrived I found out that the milkshake machine is broken (already?) so no milkshakes, my single patty burger was so burnt, shriveled and dry I could barely eat half. I ordered it with sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions and mayo and there was hardly any of all these ingredients on top, in fact I thought they had given me the wrong order as I was searching for my toppings. My order took 20 minutes to make and when I got home (less than 1 minute drive) my burger was stone cold. How is that possible? The boy who took my order has NO customer service skills. Good burgers, some service great and some really bad. Some of the people who come in look and act like they just arrived from under a railroad bridge in Brockton. Watch where you sit and be careful what you say. Fries are GREAT if you get them fresh, but waaaaay over salted!! If you get them via delivery, they're limp, cold, soggy grossness. A small order is usually plenty; a large order is way too much, and they get too soggy to reheat.

Some of the servers try to tell you that you can't get them unsalted, but insist on some from a new batch. They are constantly making new batches, so it's not like it's a big deal or you'll have to wait long. Overall a pretty decent place but beyond unhealthy. Check out the nutrition numbers...
