I was excited to try the new location. Earlier today, I placed an order in Grubhub consisting of a cortado, nitro cold brew and a blueberry muffin. When I arrived inside, the name on my order was called and I was handed my cortado by the male manager. He looked at me, said "Jason?", I said yes and he gave me the drink. I then stood there for 5 minutes and watched 3 of the employees do nothing. Eventually the manager came out from behind the counter to give a table food and then stood there. At this point, I walked up and said my order was incomplete. The cashier looked at me an said "Oh you're the Grubhub order?" Then looked at the manger and said "This is the Grubhub order". Then the manager just looked at me. I said I am missing a blue berry muffin (which there was a pile of in the display) and a nitro cold brew. The manager said oh yeah, we don't have any nitro cold brew. He knew that we were there, he said the name of the order as he handed me the cortado, and never said anything. At this point me husband just walked out and the manager said do you want anything else, looking perplexed and indignant. I said, not after just standing here for no reason please just a refund. There is no reason, the workers were just rude because they were out of something. They never completed my order, there were blueberry muffins available. I was the one inconvenienced yet I get to deal with an attitude? I don't understand how to take their behavior as something other than rude considering the blueberry muffin wasn't even ready. It seems like this location will just be another coffee shop where you can pay to get an attitude. To top it off the espresso in the...
Read moreThis place is massive! The inside has the equivalent of two good size coffee shops can one, and then there’s this extensive patio out the back doors. It looks like the kind of place you could host music or open mic nights or other live events. Maybe some trivia?!
I did not realize that the flatbread sandwich was this bread that kind of was like naan, and that was sad because in my mind I was picturing a Panini. I didn’t like the chicken that was on the sandwich, which is reminiscent of the defrosted chicken pieces that you get at Panera bread.
The service was good.
The muffins were fresh and decent (and they had a pumpkin).
They serve MEM tea, and coffee that is locally roasted in Worcester.
I will have to come back! It was overall a great visit.
It is fully accessible, and there’s lots of parking out back. There is not a lot of parking out front so I parked on the road and just hoped with my handicap sticker that it would be OK and it was.
I also love that they have a place where you can get free refills of water! Such such a great idea! Especially for bikers in...
Read moreHad my first visit to fuel America today. Nice space. Well lit. Good menu. Prices seemed good. The reason for the low rating was the staff. The woman in front of me ordered the woman behind the counter asked if she wanted it for there or to go so forth. Okay. I step up place my order. I'm not asked if I wanted for there to go my food's put in a bag so the insinuation was. Maybe they didn't think I was going to stay? And they give me my change but only give me the bills. They forget to give me the change. So I asked and said should I have some change and the one behind the count is like yes and I call. Can I have it? I know it's on you a couple of cents but still I usually throw my extra change into a tip jar not leave it in the register. It just struck me as an odd way to do business. I'll try again because I want to sit at the patio. Maybe when it's a nicer day. It's raining today. Overall though, although the space seemed inviting the staff didn't. No one said hi to me. No one welcomed me. I mean, I'm sure they know their regulars and I'm not a regular. Felt like I...
