Brava Cucina – Fresh, Flavorful, and a Must-Visit (Despite a Few Hiccups) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brava Cucina in Weymouth is the kind of place where you can taste the passion in every bite. The commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients is undeniable, and while the space was a little too cozy for comfort and service had some Valentine’s Day slip-ups, the food and drinks made the experience well worth it. 🍽 The Food – Fresh, Thoughtful, and Packed with Flavor One of the biggest highlights? Everything is made fresh—except the gelato. That attention to detail makes all the difference, and you can truly taste the love the chefs put into each dish. 🐟 The Salmon – A Star Dish The salmon was as fresh as it gets, cooked to flaky, buttery perfection with a beautifully crisp skin. And let’s talk about that lemon risotto. Creamy, zesty, and bursting with bright flavors, it complemented the salmon flawlessly. Every bite was pure magic. 🍋🔥 🥔 Gnocchi – Handmade and Heavenly The gnocchi was light, pillowy, and clearly made from scratch. The sauce it came in was rich without being heavy, making it one of the most comforting and satisfying dishes of the night. 🍝✨ 🍘 Arancini – Crispy, Cheesy, and Addictive Brava Cucina’s arancini was pure perfection. These golden-fried risotto balls had a crisp exterior that gave way to a cheesy, creamy center that melted in your mouth. Paired with their house-made sauce, this was one of the best appetizers of the night. Highly recommend! 🧀🔥 🍖 Coppa Prosciutto – Simple Yet Spectacular The Coppa Prosciutto was all about quality over complexity. No cheese, no extras—just beautifully cured, thinly sliced prosciutto with the perfect balance of saltiness and depth. If you’re a fan of top-tier charcuterie, this dish is a must-try. 🥩✨ 🧀 Burratini – A Dream on a Plate While there was no cheese with the prosciutto, the burratini was to die for. Creamy, delicate, and rich without being overpowering, it was an absolute standout. If you love fresh, milky burrata-style cheese, you’re in for a treat. Silky, smooth, and unforgettable. 🥖💛 🍸 The Cocktails – Crafted with Precision and Passion The bartender at Brava Cucina is a true mixologist. You can tell he takes great pride in his craft, carefully balancing flavors to create drinks that feel tailor-made for each guest. 💘 The Amore Cocktail – Love in a Glass This cocktail was a showstopper. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and just sweet enough, it was so good we started telling the people next to us to order it. They did, and they loved it too. 🍹🔥 💰 The Reservation Policy – A Little Too Strict? Brava Cucina requires reservations, and if you don’t show up, you’re hit with a $50 cancellation fee. While I understand the need to avoid no-shows, this policy feels a bit too rigid. If you’re planning to dine here, make sure you’re fully committed. 💔 Valentine’s Day Service – A Bit Rocky While the food was outstanding, the service on Valentine’s Day had some hiccups. A few items were forgotten and never made it to the table. I get that a busy holiday can be overwhelming, but when you’re paying for a special night out, you expect a smooth experience. 🏠 The Ambiance – Cozy… Maybe a Little Too Cozy Brava Cucina has a warm, inviting vibe, but the tables are packed in tightly. If you’re looking for a romantic, intimate dinner, be prepared for very close quarters. A little more space between tables would really enhance the experience. Final Verdict – Fresh, Authentic, and Worth a Visit ✅ Brava Cucina is a restaurant that puts love into its food, from the handmade gnocchi to the expertly cured prosciutto. While the tight seating, strict reservation policy, and occasional service slip-ups were drawbacks, the quality of the meal made up for it. Would I go back? Absolutely. Next time, I’d choose a less busy night to fully enjoy the experience. If you love fresh Italian cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and expertly made dishes, Brava Cucina is a must-visit. 🍽💖

Came here because we had a $35 off a $100 reward for inKind. The two of us for a high top was there over an hour and a half, and all the food came within 15 minutes. Took 10-15 minutes once we sat down to be checked on, drinks took 10 minutes to come. Got the burratini focaccia (came with one burrata ball) - came out burnt. Told the server after she checked in after 10 minutes and brought out one replacement piece (see photo). Caesar salad was good - whole lettuce hearts and no anchovies. Arancini came with 3 average size ones - was a little cold in the middle. Got the carbonara which was not good. It was bitter, the kind of bitter when you eat too much pulp on an orange, that leaves your tongue tangy? I know carbonara has a bite - this was different than any one I've had. My friend got the Alfredo which was good. Server was at our table 3 times in an hour and a half, four counting the time she brought the replacement bread. Charged a $3 kitchen fee, $4 for each coke (no free refills?). There's so many good options in the area - this just struck out unfortunately between slow service and average food. I'm glad others enjoyed - not my experience.

So excited to have Brava come to the neighborhood! After years of going to the "sister" restaurants in Quincy Center, Brava feels a bit like coming home. Lots of familiar faces from The Townshend/Dotty's and Pearl and Lime, as well as Jose (from Idle Hour) expertly tending bar. The menu is small but homey, with perfect serving sizes and lots of fresh ingredients on every part of the menu. We had dishes from every section but mostly just have pictures of empty plates. Cocktails on point. Will be a regular date night.

We went to Brava Cucina with some friends this past weekend. This was our second visit so it was fun to try some new dishes. We started with the Bruschetta and Arancini. Our waitress was so kind and brought us a plate of Grilled Salsisiccia to try. All of the apps were delicious. The Arancini are a must try! For dinner I had the Canestri alla Norcina, my wife had the Shrimp Arrabbiatta and our friends had the Ricotta Gnocchi and Squid Ink Vongole. All of us raved about our meals. Surprisingly we had room for dessert. We had some fun dessert drinks, I had the cannoli, my wife had the Gelato and our friends had the lemon cake. Disappointed they don't serve coffee, which I like to enjoy with dessert after a great meal. This was our second time trying the Gelato and it tasted more like ice cream than Gelato both times. I'll stick with the cannoli or the lemon cake next time since both are good. The food is delicious, service is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The space is small so be sure to make a reservation. Free parking in the garage attached to the building which is very convenient for the Landing. If you are looking for some delicious Italian, check out...
