Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Wheat Ridge

UPDATE: Management of this location contacted me the following day to apologize and make things right. I really appreciate the follow up and we had our same order the next week on the house. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The thin crust is especially good, my toddler can't get enough! We ordered at 5:04pm with an estimated delivery of 5:35-5:45pm. I check on the order at 5:50pm and notice it has been assigned to Doordash for delivery but the order is still "in progress". I call the store at 5:55 to ask and the person seems surprised that my order wasn't delivered yet then tells me it's still in the oven but should be out soon. I get an update from Doordash that the driver has picked up the order at 6:05. His car hasn't moved at 6:11 so I call again and they tell me the driver is waiting for another order to come out of the oven before he leaves..... I offer for my husband to come pick up the order, which we would have done in the first place if we had known they didn't have their own delivery drivers like they usually do. They say "no no, the driver is on his way now". I call again at 6:22 because, you guessed it, the driver hasn't left yet. My husband drives over there and just as he arrives, the driver leaves the restaurant.

Not only did the order arrive 50 minutes after is was estimated to arrive, we received the wrong order, to boot! We won't be ordering delivery here again, probably won't be ordering from Marco's for quite some time. Note: The pizza was good despite being late and the order...

One guy at the store was really nice asks checked that my order was correct. Gave atmosphere a3 because there is no atmosphere to speak of, just a counter to pick up your food. Speaking of the food, the pepperoni pizza was good especially the pepperoni cups. Very subtle garlic flavor in the crust. The bbq chicken pizza i did not care for and I love bbq. The sauce was too much and too sweet. It tasted like Rachel Ray's brown sugar bbq. The boneless bbq wings were beaded nuggets with the same too sweet sauce. I prefer a smoky bbq sauce. The Buffalo wings were soggy where I prefer crispy and the sauce had the vinegar flavor but not buffalo. Not worth the 7 mile drive but wouldn't go back if it were 1 mile away. Many better...

The kid who took my order was great. Polite, funny, accurate. No complaints there. The pizza took forever to arrive. They don’t have delivery drivers, they use door dash drivers so who knows where else they go when delivering. You get 200 text notifications for every time the restaurant or driver farts, but they eventually end up saying, “your order is going to take forever.” When your pizza shows up, it’s 3 16” pizzas “large” I guess. I thought for $25/pizza you would get something at least a little better than Pizza Hut but not the case.
