Potbelly — Restaurant in Wheaton

The staff was so incredibly sweet. I work in hospitality so I love good customer service and the four people I interacted with all were kind. I asked a question of one person and when he didn’t know the answer, he referred me to someone else who could answer it. The only problem I have is not necessarily with this location but maybe the company. This company has been my fave sandwich on the go spot for years. They have definitely cut down on the toppings (meat/cheese/lettuce/mayo). This is the fourth time (not all this location) that I felt like I was just eating a piece of over priced bread with some lettuce and a hint of turkey over the last few months. Good place for a hot sandwich. I usually get the Lucky 7 which is a off the menu specialty that has all the meats. Its pretty fantastic. Edit: Food is still good, service can be a bit subpar. Came in during my lunch break to grab a sandwich and R&R, when I asked if he could write the topping down so that the sandwich would be done when I got out he just said they could finish it when I came out. Was missing the bacon, but they didn't charge me for it an I didn't have time to ask for it. So, not the best place for your 30, but still better then...

I love potbelly sandwiches. They are toasty. I always get at least one cookie as well. My husband loves Their zapps chips. Their staff is polite, even when I'm slightly changing one of their sandwiches... I remove the mushrooms from the pizza sandwich. I rarely get the milkshake, but they're amazing too.

I really wish they were open later, as I would prefer to grab a quick sandwich for dinner some time. I'm often not leaving the house for lunch which seems to be their prime open...
