Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store — Restaurant in Wheaton

I only have 1 thing to say: Holy cow!

I actually have other things to say. I have never in my life experienced a more genuine and hospitable ice creamery in my 69 years of age. The ice cream is incredible. The chess boards are immaculate The staff The bathrooms are cleaner than any of my 573 whistles, which I keep in pristine condition as I am an avid whistle collector.

One positive experience I had was with whoever the cashier was when I went in there. I brought to the counter a quart of chocolate ice cream. I am a simple man. They said, "Hello." I said, "Great." They asked me for $7.11. I gave it to them. I left the store and ate the quart of ice cream while binge watching my favorite show, the only show I've ever watched, The Office. Skatatatatatatata!

10/10, would not bulldoze for the sake of better parking...

The banana float. The checkers and chess tables.the happy crowds. The smiling hosts. The college kids who serve. It is a formula scripted for success. Now coming to the ice cream - ordered a banana float which was huge and came with two bananas and three scoops. We could customize the scoops so went with espresso caramel, cookie dough and butter pecan. They came topped with strawberries, pineapple jelly and real pecans. The chocolate chips were yummy. Great place....

This place has top notch employees! Raeann has got to be one of the most hard working, dedicated, thoughtful workers I’ve ever interacted with in my life. She coined this establishment a 5 star rating with her constant drive to help all customers that come in for ice cream. She is never without a smile on her face and it is evident that her main goal is to not only help customers, but help her coworkers as well and she is always visibly giving 110%....
