This place is a gem. I can't believe we didn't find or come here sooner. We don't eat out much bc home cooked meals & coffee from home is always the best. However, when we do decide to eat out, we look for quality and atmosphere.
I LOVE their mission & that they give opportunities to people with disabilities. We're fortunate to live near this location. We have family members with disabilities that range from autism and many others in between, so to see a place that takes the care to do this just touches the soul.
AND, bar none (I think that's the right term), We honestly haven't had such a good latte or mocha at other places like we had here. They did a wonderful job. I had a BLT, while my husband got the Frontier and a chocolate chip scone, and they were all super delicious, they hit the spot.
The staff were super friendly and the place was very clean, bright and the menu wasn't overly complicated, which makes for a great experience in my opinion. If you are looking for a place to have just coffee or a quick sandwich, salad or soup, This is definitely a place to check out. I give props to the owner for doing this. High respect for sure, I hope others are inspired to do more of...
Read moreThe service, food, and cleanliness are superb. The sandwiches are made and put together with a lot of care. It's not like competitors (e.g., Starbucks or Dunkin) who toss pre-packaged sandwiches into an oven and nuke them unevenly with cheese and filling burnt on the side of paper bags. The staff here really care about making good food for everyone. The coffee is also better than competitors' coffee. Each time I've gotten drip coffee or an Americano, I see zero film, gunk, or oil floating at the top of my drink. Totally better than everyone else, once again. Last, the cafe in general is immaculately clean. It looks and feels totally clean. I remember when the same location in this strip mall was a slightly disheveled and aged Starbucks franchise. The prices are also the nearly the same as everyone else's. Highly recommend this alternative...
Read moreLet's be honest, sometimes the most important part of a business coffee meeting is not the business. It's the coffee. At Gerry's Cafe, they nail it. Delicious brew, reasonably priced, so you won't have to get a loan to afford a latte. The decor is bright, contemporary, and comfortable, a nice change from the usual dimly lit, coffee houses. Bonus points for the short wait time and comfy seating , no one wants to pitch a potential client while perched on a wobbly stool. And wow, talk about clean! I'm pretty sure my kitchen isn't this spotless. The staff were cheerful, courteous, and helpful. They actually seemed happy to be there, which is a rare and wonderful thing these days. All in all, Gerry's is a fantastic spot for a business coffee meet-up. In fact, I'll be back… probably more often than my accountant would like....
