If you're craving authentic Uzbek cuisine in the heart of Buffalo Grove, Tandoor Samsa is a hidden gem you don't want to miss. This cozy spot specializes in Uzbek dishes, with a particular focus on their signature samsas, which many claim are the best in the Chicago area. Food Quality: The standout here is undeniably the samsa. With its flaky, golden crust and savory filling, it's clear why Tandoor Samsa has earned a reputation for serving the best samsa around. The rest of the menu is equally impressive, offering a variety of traditional Uzbek dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors, making it a treat for anyone who appreciates well-crafted, flavorful food. Pricing: One of the biggest perks of dining at Tandoor Samsa is the excellent value. Despite the top-notch quality, the prices remain surprisingly affordable, making it a great option whether you're dining solo or with a group. Atmosphere & Service: The ambiance is simple yet welcoming, focusing on delivering an authentic dining experience without any unnecessary frills. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring you feel at home while enjoying your meal. Overall: Tandoor Samsa offers a perfect blend of flavor, authenticity, and value. Whether you’re a fan of Uzbek cuisine or looking to try something new, this is a spot worth visiting. The samsas alone are worth the trip, but the entire experience is sure to leave you planning your next visit. And many thanks to Abdurrahman for being nice and friendly every time I came here.

I come here all the time for good Uzbek food. Genuinely the one and only place I can go for this. They have great Samsa. The only complaint: hardly any toppings on my plov. I have celiac disease and try to treat myself with some celiac friendly food from time to time here, I ask for less rice and more toppings. Tell me why my bowl is 80% rice, 15% beef, and 5% toppings. The past 5 times my plov was basically beef and rice. This last time I asked for less rice and extra toppings. This picture will tell you about my past 5 plov orders. after I removed the beef just to show how much rice vs actual flavorful toppings there were. I would actually pay $10 extra dollars for the order I actually want, I don’t know what I need to say to get the plov the way I used to get it when the man was behind the counter. Very disappointing how one of my favorite dishes is gone apparently and I can never get it again no matter how I ask. Please change this, I want to eat this beautiful plov again!

Maybe if you dine in, this incident wont happen. However, when you are taking food for togo you need to make sure that the food is fresh. I bought several food portions for togo, this is not my first time getting food from them. I came home, i warmed one of the portions up and ate it. I have a one month old breastfeeding baby, we got intoxicated because of their old food. Probably it stayed 3-4 days after being ready. Me and my baby went to the emergency room because of it. I would not complaint if it was not about my baby. They always had fresh food, i have been a client of theirs for years. It is so unbelievable that restaurants change after having many clients. The worst experience i had. I would ask their management to have ready food on sale for only 2 days max! Otherwise they will have more sick customers like me. Maybe worse ones who will finally sue them for selling such food… by the way i threw to garbage the rest portions!

The food is alright however the customer service is horrible. Whoever the older lady waitress is she is horrible at doing her job. She pushes through her needs. She is not friendly, she has a very cold personality and never came to check and ask how are things going. At the end when it came to paying the bill she put all our table’s bill together. We asked if she could split the bill, but she said she can’t and wants our table to pay as one. She said one of you pay for everyone and the rest of you pay him back with cash or zelle the amount to your friend.

She doesn’t understand what if the customer doesn’t have cash or can not zelle the money. This is a restaurant that people come with friends and families. Are they all supposed to pay together? You should always respect the customer and as a business owner please put that as priority.

People like her will ruin a prosperous business. Please OWNER pay attention and retrain her if you don’t want to lose...
