The manager, Jimmy, was very rude. My friends and I went to watch the hockey game and he suspected my friend, who had just turned 21, was using a fake ID. (He had been living in NV for almost a year so he got his license from there.) Because the manager did not think his ID was real he demanded for a second form of ID from all of us. I can get why he asked my friend with the NV ID but my other friend and I had our normal WV IDs which he sees every day so he should know what it looks like. He walked away from the table with our IDs and MY CREDIT CARD and came back without them in hand. I was annoyed at this so I asked for my ID and card back. He told me to be patient and acted like he was going to keep it. A few minutes later he then reached in his pocket for my ID and card and THREW THEM ON THE TABLE. I angrily picked up my ID and then the baby manager man-child got upset at this and yelled "YOU KNOW WHAT ALL OF YOU OUT." All of us are 21 and were deeply bothered by this man's behavior. I have also heard from several friends who have worked there that this manager is very sexist towards women employees and always rude.
Apart from this incident I had been there in the recent months to eat and the food is way less than subpar. TJs used to be one of my favorite places but since the food has been going downhill recently, and after this event the other day I will never...
Read moreOk....I've never been here but my wife wanted to try it. I'll give you the Good, The Bad and The Ugly. First the good- the kids enjoyed the arcade games... those that didn't eat our money, and the TV was huge --crazy huge. Kids meals were a good value. The double fudge ice cream cake was awesome. And the bad.. The breading on onion rings would not stay on so I got a pile of breading and onions... the wings were overcooked in dirty grease- too dry to eat. Loaded tots were good, but 8 bucks for 12-15 tater tots with cheese on them is steep. Now the ugly..... when we asked the hostess for a high chair for our baby she said she didn't know if they had any went back to her Podium and stood there. I walked around the restaurant and found one myself. We never once got refills. My $14 Philly cheese steak was a 6-in sub bun with canned mushrooms on and some roast beef that you can get at Walmart for $3 a pound. If I saw it ahead of time I wouldn't have paid $5 for it. I know things have went up in cost but $13 for eight wings is grossly over exaggerated. I eat wings at least 4 to 5 days a week -when buying them at the store raw I can get 24 wings for 11$. I understand the increase in wages and supply chain costs but $77 for a meal that wasn't worth $40 is a bit much. My voice is my money and i hope y'all trust it-- atmosphere great, food not great,...
Read moreMy wife and I went here for my birthday. Upon entry, we had a small wait with the hostesses really moving and making sure people were seated. The tables were cleaned. Upon being seated, we had a longer wait as our waitress was fairly new. We ordered our drinks, and as the waitress came back for our orders, she had forgotten them, had gone back and grabbed. My wife had ordered the reuben and tots as I ordered their new cheeseburger reuben and fries. The food was delivered pretty quickly. My wife's reuben had very little dressing on her sandwich, and I wasn't sure if it even was put on but was glad we got extra on the side. My cheeseburger reuben (where do I start). It was good and a good concept, but the patty seemed a little dry and had no cheese on the patty. The corned beef also did not have cheese on it either as there was no Russian sauce on my sandwich either but it was on the side. I would make sure there is cheese on the burger patty and on top of the sauerkraut with dressing on both sides of the bread(my suggestion that's all). Other than that, it was an OK night. We will be back as we come back every...
