Such a cute fun little coffee shop in downtown White Bear Lake. They have a variety of fun drinks and pastries. The seating is a bit limited because the coffee shop is fairly small, but I loved the variety of eating areas available. I tried the maple latte with cinnamon sprinkled on top. I'm lactose intolerant and they had milk alternatives.

Update: I've been back several times because it's a great location, the drinks are good, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the employees are kind. I love the seasonal fun drink ideas they create, which are a bit of fun. There is a Christian background to the coffeeshop, which I absolutely love. I had a pistachio and vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was amazing. I tried three scones over the past two times I've been there and they are almost rubbery (and I LOVE scones!), so I think I'll skip them next time. Sign up for the...

Great coffee at a reasonable price in downtown White Bear Lake. The specialty drinks are tasty. I go for an americano most times. The scones are great when I’ve had them. The breakfast burrito was tasty but pretty small - for the price I probably wouldn’t get again and stick to the pastry selection. Parking can be hit or miss depending on how busy the area is. But there is street parking and lots throughout the area. The staff is always very nice. The space doubles as a wine bar at night and can be rented out I think from what I’ve seen which could be nice for a large group. A good amount of seating with various arrangement from large table to smaller 1 and 2 person tables. There is outdoor seating now too. I would recommend this place if you’re in the area. Hit up the book store on the same row while you’re at it or walk...

The Anchor is cute, affordable and everything you'd want a home town coffee shop to be. It runs with the theme of White Bear Lake while still having that country town feel. The aesthetic is truly a small boating town with its wood floors, decorations and chairs.

I gave this place 3 stars bc it is my first visit. The barista was lovely, is still very new to being a barista; but gladly takes your order with a smile and helpful attitude. I didn't meet the owner or really anyone who's there, but that doesnt detract from good service.

One other reason I detracted a star, tho not theory fault, is that they have terrible parking. In their defense, all of downtown as terrible parking.

I would, however, completely go again and...

Happened upon this coffee shop over the weekend. It looks like it operates as a restaurant on Saturday evenings--Margaux's Table. My husband got his usual cold brew and I got a cortado and London Fog. We also ordered a breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich. I'm not a Vegetarian but I got the black bean breakfast burrito. Both dishes were very good! Small, but satisfying. I especially love the modern farmhouse feel of the space. Very beautiful, very relaxing. Everything was fantastic! Plenty of seating in two different rooms. And, it looks like outdoor seating out back when it's warmer. Definitely check them out!
