Sarku Japan — Restaurant in White Marsh

Sarku Japan is easily one of my favorite places to grab a quick, delicious, and satisfying meal. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the consistency, flavor, and freshness of the food. The hibachi-style chicken teriyaki is absolutely amazing — tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of their signature sauce. Paired with fluffy rice and crisp vegetables, it’s a meal that always leaves me full and happy.

What I love most about Sarku Japan is the quality you get at such a great value. The portions are generous, and everything is cooked right in front of you, which makes the whole experience even better. Placed order online, when I got to restaurant the younger Hispanic female asked me if I was picking up I told her yes she checked to see if order was ready she then told me she was waiting on it.. a few minutes later she bags an order staples the bag closed and walks away and gets on her phone in the corner behind the counter. She never told me my order was ready. That bag sat there for a good 5 minutes before I got up and asked what the name was on the bag. Come to find out it’s my order and was never told. Maybe is she wasn’t too busy texting on her phone the orders wouldn’t be behind and I’d be able to actually enjoy my lunch break. Now I have to swallow my food and rush back to work…. Today I ordered a chicken teriyaki, one egg roll, and a order of dumplings. My egg roll was frozen on the inside. Went back inside to inform the attendant at the register she acted as if I was lying. She told me they would make me a new one. The woman who was cleaning came up to take orders. After waiting twenty minutes for a new egg roll. I walked up to the counter she who did not wash a single finger! Went to bring me back my egg rolls which I declined because that is nasty !! Ma’am I saw you cleaning the bathrooms , mopping the floors, then touching money at the register. Why would I want those same hands touching my food. Last visit to this restaurant...
