CAVA — Restaurant in Maryland

a “manager” at Cava in White Marsh, MD got in their car and would not stop following me in their car until i went to a police station to have them handle it.

I pre ordered a large cup and arrived to a near empty store to grab it. The cashier wasn’t helping anyone or doing anything other than waiting for the next customer to arrive. I politely asked if my order was ready and after telling them it wasn’t at the “ready for pickup “ station the cashier asked if i had just ordered it. I said yes, and upon spotting my cup with my name on it behind her within arms reach, she picked it up and said “huh, well you’ll get it when its ready” placing yhe cup back on the counter next to her. i dont know when an empty cup with my name on it sitting behind this cashier is gonna get any more ready, so i kindly asked for it again. She kept denying me my order with smiles and all even though she was free to help me.

I told them that i dont want this to become anything bigger than it had to be, but she just kept giving me an attitude. It even got to the point where another employee had to be held back from what he looked like was trying to fight me. I dont know who this Cava is hiring but ive been going here for years and have never been treated this way. When i asked for a manager, she claimed to be the manager, so when i told her id be contacting corporate then, she became even more out of control and started recording and taking pictures of me while threatening to follow me back to my job and “cause trouble.” This manager on duty did in fact leave their job and their team just to get in their car and follow me until i had to pull into a police station to have them take care of it.

Overall, today was a huge disappointment on the image and integrity of the White Marsh Cava. Not only was i denied service, my order, and respect, my experience here almost turned into a physical fight and a car chase because the manager leads a bad example of what can slide in their location

Also called to gather a General managers contact information or district manager contact info and was straight up denied by someone named Jessica and was told they cant give out that info. That’s never been how jobs handle situations like that.

CAVA White Marsh is hands down one of the best fast casual spots I’ve been to. Not just for the food, but because of the people who work there. I’ve been coming here pretty regularly over the past couple months and the consistency is unmatched.

The food is always fresh, ,like actually fresh, not just “fast food fresh.” The greens are crisp, the toppings are always stocked, and the proteins are cooked perfectly. The honey harissa chicken is my go-to but honestly everything I’ve tried has been solid. Shoutout to the garlic dressing and the crazy good pickled onions, they bring the whole bowl together.

But what really makes this location stand out is the team. I think his name was Will, but he always has great energy, he’s quick with service but still takes a second to greet you or crack a smile. Nichole is super friendly too she’s helped me a couple times and has always made sure everything in my bowl was right without rushing me. I’ve seen her handle difficult rushes like a pro. Also gotta shout out on grill, whoever’s cooking back there knows what they’re doing. Chicken’s always juicy and seasoned, and you can tell they take pride in getting it right. I’ve had dry, overcooked meat at other CAVA locations before, but never here.

Even when the line is long (which it usually is around lunch/dinner), they keep things moving fast and the place stays clean. Tables get wiped down regularly, and the whole setup feels organized and taken care of.

It’s just one of those spots where you walk out satisfied every time. If you’re anywhere near White Marsh and thinking about stopping by, don’t even hesitate. This CAVA team deserves...

CAVA opened its newest location in White Marsh, and it's a great clean restaurant with plenty of tables and an outdoor enclosed section on the side of the building. I ordered a Lamb Meatballs Greens/Grains Bowl, Harissa Honey Chicken with Lamb Meatballs Greens/Grains Bowl, Braised Lamb Greens/Grains Bowl, and a Braised Lamb Pita.

The good: You're able to add up to 3 different types of dips/spread, and the toppings are unlimited! The Braised Lamb Pita was amazingly delicious. The pita bread was warm and soft, and definitely enjoyed the chewy texture of the pita bread. The braised lamb was very flavorful, and the drizzle went really well with the dish.

With the Greens/Grains bowl, I tried the Lamb Meatballs, Honey Harissa Chicken, and Braised Lamb bowls. The different meats were all delicious, but definitely enjoyed the Braised Lamb the most, and would highly recommend it over the other meats. I decided to go with all of the toppings, and tried different dressings. My favorite dressing is the Lemon Herb Tahini, but can't go wrong with any of the dressings you choose.

The bad: Nothing against CAVA, but the parking lot could be bigger since it will get packed around lunch time with all the other restaurants and stores in the area.

Overall, if you're a fan of CAVA, you'll be glad to know that there's a White Marsh location for those in the area! Definitely recommend the...
