Queen of Hearts — Restaurant in Whitney

My friend had her birthday party here yesterday and it was a cool experience - definitely different than anything I've ever done here in Vegas.

We arrived for our 1:45 reservation and the young lady that greeted us was super outgoing and nice (I didn't catch her name). She sat us and explained how everything worked. They have a menu of all the teas - with detailed descriptions - as well as little jars you can open and smell ahead of time. *These are display only; once you decide on your tea, they bring your actual tea and the infuser/steeper (sorry, not sure what it's called - I'm not very cultured).

You can then chill and have your tea for a while. About 30 minutes into tea time, they served two different kinds of mini scones - one described as sweet and the other as savory - along with an assortment of jams and clotted cream. And 30 minutes-ish because they have the scones after your party has arrived and ordered their tea.

After noshing on these, you can select your second flavor of tea. Same thing here - you have your second flavor of tea for about 30 minutes and then they bring out the tiered serving trays that have a variety of sandwiches and sweets. When these came out, we were introduced to and were able to greet the two chefs.

When we were done, we wanted to take pics and they conveniently have a room with various props you can wear/use for your pics. We were there a tad over two hours and it felt very relaxed and leisurely - there were no other parties while we were there either so it felt like a private party.

To the guys out there - this isn't a bad experience. It isn't pretentious and there's no proper dress code so you can come and be yourself. There were 5 guys in our group and I'm sure everyone had a good time. The one thing I will say is to not come here expecting to fill up on food - I probably could have single-handedly eaten all the food that was served. I'm sure I could've ordered more but didn't want to come across as uncouth.

I had my birthday celebration here and it will be one to remember!!! The Chef and Staff here were very friendly and they took plenty of pictures of my party as well, no problem. I believe I had 23 people in my party. Most of my guests had never gone to a tea party, so they were super excited! The venue was very nice. There were props available for us to use in photos. There were also props available for purchase. The venue is suitable for an adult tea party or children. I will definitely visit here again.

I’m not even a fan of hot tea. However, the staff recommend that I try a vanilla hibiscus tea. She told me that it taste like kool aid. I tried it and she was right. I let the tea cool and it was delicious!!! My favorite sandwiches were the cucumber and the turkey. The cucumber sandwich was super fresh. The turkey sandwich was good as well. The apricot rosemary scones were very good!!! I believe one of the jams was apricot and that was my favorite one.

I started about a month out with asking the Chef questions that I had. Then I went forward with making my reservation. I was updated continuously and if I had questions, she answered them pretty quick. Go visit, you won’t be...

What an amazing experience we had from start to finish with Queen of Hearts! My daughter has recently become obsessed with the Descendants 3 movie, starring the beautiful Queen of Hearts. When we found this tea room, it couldn’t be more perfect for her Queen of Hearts themed birthday party. Angela was quick to respond to my inquiry and willing to host my group of little girls. It was a dream party - literally! The food was delicious, the tea was great (and they had alternatives for our little girls who wanted to drink from the cups but didn’t want tea!), the decor is unreal (even better in person than it is in photos if you can believe it!), the photo space and the prop room were a huge hit with the girls, and the staff was great. Angela even took my phone and did a little mini photo shoot! I knew that there was the possibility that there would be other groups at our party, but if I could have changed anyyyything it would have been to have the room to ourselves. Mainly because I didn’t want to disturb the other guests and was a little worried about that the whole time. Other than that, 10 out of 10 would recommend.
