I waited for a very long time and felt trapped because, I was unable to drive out of the drive-thru area. I questioned the woman working the window why the wait was excessive and she offered me a misleading excuse that there were many large orders. I was able to identify that she was either a manager and or a shift supervisor by her uniform. I explained to her that there is certain level of efficiency that is required by employees and that I was sure that the commitment was not being fulfilled. My experience was upsetting because she never apologized and as I was driving away, I identified that my order was incorrect. I drove back and the line at the drive-thru was just as long. I decided to walk inside the restaurant but the doors were locked...I decided to walk up to the drive-thru window and explained that my order was incorrect, I handed her the bag and the coffee and I asked her to refund my money back. At this time, I had wasted too much time waiting for my food and then the order was incorrect. This is simply unacceptable and unless you could give me back the time I wasted waiting to receive the wrong order...there was absolutely no way I could be possibly satisfied. I would stay away from this drive-thru trap that's unless you want to deal with the aggravation and the stress involved with an experience such as this one...if so strap on and enjoy the ride. Oh yeah...it's going to take 24 hours to get my refund...
Read moreGo to this McDonald's often. The customer service is good, food is, well, its McDonald's food. However, it really irritates me that I order my food and I would say that about 80% of the time, I get parked so they can bring out my food(regardlessof the size of the order). Thats an extra step I have to take to accomodate their business. Shouldn't it be the opposite way? All McDonald's is worried about is their drive thru speed of service. All I ordered was two Mcflurries and I was made to park in front of the store. It took them all but two minutes to bring them out to me yet they had to rush me out of the drive thru to make sure their time doesn't get messed up. Ultimately, I know this review does nothing but I just wanted to let McDonald's (at least this one, franchisee or corporate) that it just frustrating that their focus is more on how long a car sits at their drive thru window and I understand it's meant to be quick but not at the expense of always making it an inconvenience to the customer. Regardless of my rant, I know I'll still come here and I know that it is in no way the fault of the employee's that work here and I thank them for their hard work always keeping the line moving, that is...
Read moreUpdate: October 1, 2023 I just don't understand these people. What in the hell is going on these days. How hard is it to make French fries? Any fool can make them. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this place to get food, the fries are HORRIBLE! And the burgers are put together like a blind person did it. With Raising Caines and In N' Out right across the street, you'd think they would do better to keep people coming back. But no, not these fools. I am so done with this McDonald's. There are too many options out there for me to want to come back. I'll take my money somewhere else.
This mcdonalds is pretty good. Always clean and the people are friendly. Parking can be a challenge at times, but that's not really their fault. The whittier market parking area wasn't really designed properly. The only thing about this particular mcdonalds is that they are notorious about messing up you order and the fries they give you, well, depending on what time of day it is, you have a 50/50 chance of stale fries. So check your order and your fries b4 leaving...
