Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Wichita

I go there all the time. And I will continue to go there still probably. Yesterday was just a bad experience. That is not the norm but I am going by the experience from yesterday because this was the last time I went there. Usually, it's okay and decent but yesterday it was pitiful. So some guy came and asked for my order and by the time I got my shake eight other people in line received their ice cream before I received mine. The guy who took my order forgot what I ordered by the time he turned around and walked to get the cup for the shake. He then proceeded to make somebody else's shake that was down at the end of the line instead of asking me what I ordered. I did get a little upset and started saying something when I realized he was making somebody's order six people down. Another employee tried to save the order from being so bad but then it was too late. The guy did not apologize he did not try to make it right he tried to ignore me and my wife and act like it didn't happen. Now as far as the food I ordered my son a cheeseburger plain and that came out quicker than any of those shakes we ordered period on top of that it was made wrong. Cheeseburger plain means meat and cheese a bun and that's it that's a plain cheeseburger. I guess they thought playing meant make it basically how you make the burger every time. Update I know the service industry has declined dramatically but I don't understand serving inedible food that the customer paid for! I came to get a signature cinnamon roll, I haven't had a braums cinnamon roll in years. They knew when they grabbed that roll for 1, that it wasn't iced very well, but most importantly that it was hard and dried out. Microwaving a dried out cinnamon roll does not make it soft again. When you can knock on a roll, throw it out, don't make a customer pay for food they can't even eat! When there's a lack of care like this, it shows a lack of care in management.

We don't visit Braums very often because we don't have one near our home, but now I just don't feel the need to return. I'm super bummed.

+Original post from 2020+ When we got there, the guy at the counter was cleaning, I kept looking at him, waiting For him to say something, or wash his hands and then say something; after 4 minutes I asked "are you ready?" He took my daughter's order; grabbed a napkin and got her cone without washing his hands! thankfully another man stepped in to grab a fresh cone & dish out her icecream! I have trouble being direct with people in the food industry because I know they work hard for little pay. But c'mon man! Our icecream tasted a little freezer burned too This is the 1st time I've had a bad experience at this braums which is why I didn't give fewer stars. But I was disappointed...

Poor service I ordered one small shake and a medium shake was given two smalls and one of them had ice cream running down the side of the cup. I told the guy at the window that I ordered a medium and a small not two smalls and that I need napkins to clean the side of the cup since it was all dirty from the ice cream and he said I don't know I didn't make them then he hands me the napkins so I went in the store had to literally wait 15mins to get someone to come over to the counter there where 3 employees working on drive through orders finally this lady comes over I explain I order a medium and was given a small she takes the shake and pours the small into a medium cup adds milk puts it on the machine and blends it until it was literally all milky it was so liquidy she hands me the shake I tell her not to sound rude but I ordered a shake not milk can you make this more thick its way to runny she adds a scoop of ice cream puts it on the machine again and walks off to help others , she helped 3 people then comes back and gives me the Shake and the DAMN thing is all milky again cause she left it on the machine for to long helping the other people . I was so annoyed I just took my shake and left . I get home give my hubby his small shake but since I was in the store forever his melted and so he was complaining to me that his was to runny so we both ended up with runny...
