Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Wichita

First time going to Freddy's. Food was reasonable and good- probably average. The experience on the other hand was less than desirable. The center of the restaurant had an AC vent that had so much condensation on it- it was literally dripping on the tables and food. To the point where wet floor signs were placed. Overall appearance of the restaurant was filthy; almost disgusting. We even saw an employe who was "cleaning" tables where some tables had so much food debris left over and the employee sprayed cleaner and just wiped it all around the table. Some remained on the table and some went on the floor. It was completely obvious they couldn't care less about creating a clean environment. The bathrooms were something of a truck stop- actually some truck stop restrooms are much cleaner. If the customer side of the restaurant looks this bad, what does the...

I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for quality icecream, but I must mention that they severely messed up my order.

I ordered two large vanilla milkshakes, one with peanut butter, and one with brownie pieces. I further ordered one chocolate malt with cookie dough. We didn't get a single shake or malt and the ice-cream was all vanilla. I don't know how they managed to mess up the order so bad, but at least the ice-cream tasted amazing.

The receipt showed the correct order, so I assume it was a mess up in the kitchen. My recommendation to potential customers would be to make sure that you get the right order before driving away from the establishment. We came here as a super last minute resort for food and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The best part? The staff! They closed at 11pm and we came in at 10:57pm asking if we could still order. They were friendly and said yes, as long as we were okay with doing carry out. We were a group of 7 so we had a few orders to put in but they didn’t make us feel like we were burdens for ordering so close to closing time. All our orders were correct as well. The worst part? I’ve been to Freddy’s in Minnesota and love dining in so we were a little bummed we couldn’t stay to eat but it’s okay. Good food and great staff!
