Fuzzy's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Wichita

It doesn't excite me leaving a bad review because I know what this restaurant chain is capable of doing, that statement is also based upon visits to another location.

Our group decided to visit this establishment while at another business close by. We picked this mainly due to it's later than normal hours, as most restaurants close at 9pm. They close at 11pm.

We walked in and it really wasn't that busy, however, another employee stepped up to the register to take my order and as I approached, my friend asked a question about the menu, to which I turned and replied. Upon turning back towards the counter the employee had walked off from the register. I politely got back in line and waited my turn, however, found it odd and in poor taste to step up to service a customer, only to walk away.

We sat and waited for food, there were 6 total customer in this restaurant at 9:15pm, there were 3 people in the kitchen including the manager, 2 people in front of house. As they called my name and I went to grab the food. I inquired on the missing of tortillas with the meal, it was fajitas I ordered. Having went to set my plate down and returning to wait on the missing tortillas, the same employee told me she would bring them to me, which I immediately thanked her and returned to my seat, only to be followed by her to give me the missing items.

Here I am with my meal in front of me, wondering why this employee has decided to provide a poor level of customer service on several occasions. I started diagnosing my meal and hoping it was good. I had requested a corn side dish which I inquired about something along the lines of elote, a common Mexican dish. What I received was cold whole kernel corn resting in a container filled with water. I was perplexed and also not in the mood to confront the congenial employee on any further conflicts.

Sadly, I only ate half the meal as I was fairly hungry, but not enjoying this dish.

To the restaurant, I sincerely hope the attitudes of some of your employees gets better, as you will quickly lose out on further repeat customers. Thankfully, this establishment is out of my way and I will not be a repeat customer. Wishing...

We went in on Saturday around 2 and there was 1 other table in the restaurant. There were 6 of us and the gentleman taking our order was very nice. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our experience. We ordered queso as an appetizer and the queso was warm at best. There were 6 of us and the food took longer than expected since there was nobody in the restaurant. I hate the concept of an open kitchen when employees/cooks are not well trained. As we were picking up our food, the expo lady was telling the cook that when we have larger parties we need to send the food out as it’s ready so it’s hot. The cook responded, no, I’m used to knocking out 50 tickets at once and some other choice words. Well… 1 of our tacos was a hard taco when it was to be soft. 3 of our orders were mixed in our plats. The food was warm at best. The black beans had no flavor. The cilantro lime rice tasted like plain white rice. The hot honey chicken taco had a chicken nugget on it. The cook should concentrate on the task at hand and stop being so cocky when they failed at plating food correctly.

The overall vibe of the place is cool but the food and the cook’s arrogance were...

I wish I could give no stars. I use to go here every single day for three years when I was working. But not that much now sent I don’t work. But I called to let the manager on duty know that I had rice in my tacos and I don’t eat rice at all and can you believe that she was rude with me and pretty much called me a lier. I told her I even had one of the tacos and I could bring it in to prove I wasn’t lying about it. She was still rude and pretty much said yea whatever if you still have it you can bring it in if you want too. I will remake your order just call. I pretty much hung the phone up and was very unhappy with her rudeness and attitude. I just told myself that I would never come to this location again. What if I was Allergic to rice and I actually had allergic reaction and had to go to the hospital how would they feel about that some people don’t eat certain food for certain reasons and being rude to somebody because it’s on their food that they ordered and I asked her if they rice was close to the hamburger meat and she was like no it’s not possible for...
