Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Wichita

I've given this place a chance twice. First time, my boyfriend, my daugher, and I were seated fairly quick, but it took about 10 minutes to get our drinks, and then another 10 to get our order placed...both issues because the gal in the dining area was taking her sweet time cleaning all the other tables (nearly every table was covered from previous customers, but we were the ONLY customers in the dining area at the time...). Then, after placing our order, it took nearly 45 minutes to get our one pizza and an order of 8 wings. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time and it was about 730 on a Wednesday night. I understand call in orders and deliveries, but seriously!?!? An hour for one large pizze and 8 wings! The second time, about a week and half later, my boyfriend and I decided maybe it was a fluke thing, and to give the place another chance. It was a Sunday afternoon. Tons of cars in the parking lot, so I was prepared to see a busy dining area. Nope...Completely empty, except for one table, and that was occupied by an employee having a lunch break. Said employee looked up at us, then back to her meal. We stood at the Hostess stand for 3 minutes (it said "Wait to be seated")...in that 3 minutes, FOUR employees looked straight at us, and went back to whatever they were doing. Nobody, not one of those employees, ever said anything to us or really even acknowledged us. Finally, one employee who stopped stocking the drinks area to answer the phone, whispered and pointed at someone we couldn't see, saying that they'd be right with us. Ok, finally someone's acknowledged us. Person on phone finishes order, goes back to the drinks...it's now been about 2 minutes since he said the other person would be with us one moment. Boyfriend and I talked quite loudly about how we'd like to eat but to be ignored was completely in appropriate, and that we were going elsewhere...more employees looked at us, but not a one of them did anything about it.

It sucks that I can't and won't be going back to this location, since it's the closest sit down Pizza Hut to us, but I will be driving to the Derby location for now on, as they were with us within 30 seconds of us getting in the door, and had us seated with drinks within...

This particular location deserves negative five stars for wasting our time, and offering not "bad service", but actually "negative service" - the opposite of "service".

We ordered our pizza online. 15-20 minute wait. We arrived at this location at exactly the 15 minute mark. I pull up to the window, and I'm asked what name the order is under; I give the young lady my name, and she shuts the window and walks away without a word just as soon as my last name was uttered. My wife, sitting next to me, asks how much longer it will be. Well, I don't know, the girl shut the window and ran away before I could ask. We get to watch the staff stand around and BS with one another, every once in a while the young lady runs past the window. 15 minutes later, without any updates,(!) she returns with our pizza (which turns out later to be incorrect). We ask about the Ranch that we paid for, she looks sheepish, awkward smile, and says "Oh...yeah...we are out of Ranch". Yeah, she knew we ordered and paid for it, but was going to let us drive away without it. Nice.

We get some crummy bleu cheese dressing instead, and (finally) we are back home, when we find out that our pizza is totally and completely WRONG. My wife calls - they actually want the pizza that we received BACK (that's ok...we don't want it...but what in the world are THEY planning on doing with it? huh?) We get there, 30 minutes after we originally left with the wrong pizza - and they actually try to give us the pizza they made over 30 minutes ago.

No...way...not paying for old pizza. That's ok, the manager tells us, we can wait another 30-35 minutes for a fresh pizza (as if she is punishing us for their horrid service). Nope, full refund, please. We go to the location off of Pawnee, no issues, super fast, friendly and efficient service.

Now here's the joke: this is our 3rd visit to this location in the 3 years that we have been here, and all 3 visits have been miserable due to the abysmal service here. Well...off to the Pawnee...

I placed an order thru the app for a delivery. I specifically chose Pizza Hut bc I needed delivery and Doordash can never find my address. So I ordered Pizza Hut specifically to avoid that frustration. However, my delivery order was picked up by Doordash and wouldn't you guess it...after TWO hours, my Dasher messaged me they couldn't find it and asked me to meet them 2 miles away or the order would need canceled. I wasn't able to meet so the driver canceled my order. I tried to call the Pizza Hut store to have a refund processed for the order but the phone rang endlessly every time I tired. I contacted customer service and received an email saying the store manager would contact me within 3 business days to address the issue. It has been well over a week since I received that email and I have yet to be contacted and still have not received the refund. I'm out almost $60 for food i did not receive and I am extremely disappointed that this is taking SO much effort on my part, to...
