New China Super Buffet — Restaurant in Wichita

We have been eating here for many many years and the food is always wonderfully delicious!!! If they are almost out of something that you want and they see you looking at it... They will come offer to make more for you even if it's near closing! They are extremely kind and family-oriented and remember customers when they come in. They make you feel like you're walking into family! They always have a large selection, which makes me question why somebody would say that they have a small selection. They always have a wonderful and diverse selection to choose from as well as an area where you can choose what you want cooked, what sauces and Seasonings you want in it and they cook it right there in front of you. This is our only go to for Chinese food. My husband is not huge on Chinese food so it is awesome that they also have a selection of American food like french fries a lot of times roast beef, salmon, beef kabobs and a lot more for those who are not huge on oriental food but their family loves it! They are also very attentive, even when super busy, in regards to refilling drinks and retrieving used plates. However, they are not disturbing you constantly. They just keep a good eye on the tables. This is one of the most pleasurable casual dining places in Wichita. They even have a space near the back that has been used for private parties. You won't regret...

I paid 30 dollars in this buffet restaurant and the food does not represent the quality and variety for this price.

I was here with my daughter in the afternoon to eat in this restaurant because I do not recommend it. The fried chicken wings were not fresh, that is to say that the meat was tough.

The rice with vegetables was raw, the crab with vegetables had excess mayonnaise, a cup that I was going to use for the ice cream had food residue on the edge of the cup and I didn't want to use another for fear that the same thing would happen to me. . The egg rolls were not freshly cooked they were hard and not crispy and they did not have pork inside they were just stuffed with cabbage.

Actually I couldn't eat almost anything from the buffet because there wasn't much variety and the salmon didn't look fresh, it had a dark color and it didn't have the natural color of fresh and freshly cooked salmon and I didn't dare to eat the salmon.

I honestly do not recommend this place, the price of $12.95 for the buffet is very expensive for the little variety of food they have and also because the food is not fresh, it is not...

these guys have dropped the ball on quality in recent years. i used to really like this place but now every time i go i leave with buyers remorse. my most recent experience there my food was cold, the breading on all of the fried dishes were mushy and frankly not good. i ate less than a plate before i decided i couldn't stomach the food there. when i said something to the employee about the food tasting like it had been out for a while i was gaslit by the young female employee and told it was fine. i was not offered a discount, (in their defense i didn't ask for one, but come on.) and mind you my 2 kids and i had pecked at our plates we had hardly eaten anything. also price feels a little high here. was charged almost 50.00$ for me and my 2 children. if you are looking for an ACTUAL good buffet i would recommend shanghai on harry street. its a little more expensive but i never regret...
