Wendy's — Restaurant in Wichita

The last six times that I have gone to the Wendy’s on Harry and Clifton Every single time I have been told can you please wait at the drive thru kiosk even when there’s nobody in line and the parking lot is pretty well empty words really nobody inside and then when I finally do get a place my order in it’s been wrong all six times in a row the wait time is at least 20 to 35 minutes one time it was even over an hour for them to get the order right and get it to the window I sat at the drive up window for 27 minutes after placing my order waiting for them to give me my food the kid who Working the window was standing there texting and And completely oblivious to the fact that I was still sitting at the window still waiting for my food that they finally brought over and sat there and then the kids still waited another 9 minutes before opening the window and handing me my food by which point it was cold And the only reason he open the window at that point was because I knocked on it and said is that our food that is sitting on the counter right behind you his response was oh ha ha Ha yeah I forgot here you go and the worst part Is the fact that this is not a once in a while occurrence this is literally every single time I have gone there in the last eight months I don’t know what the deal Is But I have to say this is the worst Wendy’s that I have seen anywhere in the country Even when I drove truck and was all over the country the Wendy’s on east Harry Has the most poor service that I have seen anywhere especially for a restaurant that is supposed to be fast food if I wanted to sit and wait 30 minutes for my food then I would go to a restaurant that actually sits people and takes care of you. You do nothing to take care of your customers you do nothing to help your employees be trained better or to re-staff with people who actually want to be there and want to take care of the people who are spending their money there which is paying their salaries but they could care less which is why I will never go to that Wendy’s again I will drive out to rock Road and waste my time driving rather than sitting in line for piss poor service and piss poor food and a crappy restaurant they can’t seem to...

The food is the normal wendys standard, the people when they are there are always nice and polite. But any time I try to get breakfast on my way to work they are never open like they are supposed to be. Everything says open at 6:30am. So this morning I stopped on my way to work, I pulled in at 6:30. I understand sometimes running behind so I waited 5 mins and no one came over the speaker (which has happened "hey we are running behind can you give us acouple mins and we will be right with you". After waiting I decided to call. It rings acouple times and someone answers, I ask if they are open. The man informs me they are not open for another 10 mins. I thank him and say I can wait. I wait 15 mins and decide to leave. Now this has happened similarly to this 6 different times over the last couple months. The first time I pulled up waited acouple mins and called and the guy lied and said they don't open till 7. The next time I came the wonderful woman who was their told me he was wrong they are open at 6:30 (this was the last time I was able to get food there on my way to work, this was almost 2 months ago) the next 3 times I pulled in around 6:30 and waited, no one answered phones even though I saw people look at me through the window. The time before today I pulled up, waited, called with no answer, then a man (an employee) pulled into the parking lot walks to the back door and knocks. It was so cold he stood there just waiting with no one letting him in.

Like I understand if it a one time thing but this isn't that. This is staffing issues that management either isn't aware of or is just ignoring.

Last few visits were unimpressive. Both were drive thru, with wait times pushing 20min each. Results were the same both times, the fries which should have been fresh considering the number of orders being filled before me were soft and lukewarm, and the sandwich which should have been a crispy chicken had been in the wrapper so long that the breading resembled chicken wrapped in dough more than normal fried chicken. Also had to repeat order 3 times and then when verifing at the window I had the impression that they had not gotten it right. A homestyle chicken sandwich with only bacon and cheese is not an overly difficult order in my opinion, but seems to cause a lot of problems for those taking the order. I had chosen to come here rather than another option in an attempt to save $2-3, but the old saying stands... you get what you pay for. It'll probably be a long time before i risk going here again. Other locations have less wait and have had much better results, if you have to go to Wendys, i would suggest the kellogg and broadway location, as i have much better results there.
