When I walked in the restaurant this afternoon...the dining room was empty. No other customers were visible. I walked up to the cash register with my son to order and there was a young man standing there that appeared to be about 19 or 20 years old. He said,...."Dine in or carry out?" I said "dine in". I looked at him,...and was not pleased. He had long greasy dark hair,..and greasy looking face with sparse facial hair, and very unkempt appearance. My son ordered first, then I. He announced the total so I handed him my credit card. It was then,....when he reached out for my card, that I first saw his hands. I was shocked and IMMEDIATELY repulsed. His hands were absolutely filthy,...with some kind of GREEN tinge to them,....and his fingernails looked like CLAWS. They had dirt under them,...they were yellowish and thick and very very long. ALL of them....on each hand. I just wanted to walk out,...but before I could act, he was handing me my reciept. I couldn't believe what I had just seen....they were THAT DIRTY AND NASTY. I then watched him go over and grab the French fry containers from above the fry vat,...each time he inserted his nasty THUMB into the container as he pulled down. He begin to shovel fries into them for my order. He then went and grabbed our cheeseburgers and put them on the tray with our fries. When he handed me my tray I was speechless. I asked a woman standing behind the counter if I could speak to the manager. I took the tray to the dining room and soon a young black man appeared. He had long dreadlocks and was polite enough. I explained the situation with the guy and his greasy hair and claw like dirty fingernails and hands. He did not appear to share my concern,...and offered no apology. I told him I didn't want to eat the food,. .he offered no refund. I left the tray of food on the table and walked out. I figure throwing away 18.00 and change was better than eating that food. I WILL...
Read moreI went threw the drive threw today, and the person taking my order was very polite so I was hopeful it would be a good experience, my total was $23.31 I wanted to pay $10 in cash and put the rest on my card.. the cashier hands me back my credit card and 3.99 after some confusion and the manager being called over it was discovered that he charged my card for the full amount, then there was some confusion about why I got 399 back instead of my whole $10 and then it came to light that I had paid for the person behind me with my $10 instead of splitting it on my order.. Then nobody could seem to understand why I was upset and it took way too long for them to realize that they needed to refund me the rest of my cash, and had the nerve to act irritated with me about the situation when they were literally about to steal $6 from me and be rude about it, I asked to see the receipt several times and they only flashed it to me at the window and never gave it to me, I gave them the $3.99 back and asked for my $10 back again they acted irritated with me for asking them to make their mistake right... then they didn't even get the order right several things were missing or wrong, I had to turn around and come back to get the fries that came with the meals and again no apology and again they acted irritated that I was asking for what I paid for!! I try not to leave negative reviews, I tend to be a pretty understanding person, but this place really upset me today, not one person apologized or offered any kind of anything threw the whole incident not even my receipt so I could see it was actually charged to my card.. Wendy's customer service and food quality has definitely gone down in the past 15 years. I never really have a great experience at Wendy's anymore but this was an absolute ridiculous experience and I highly recommend you find a different Wendy's if you...
Read moreI went through the drive through with my free Jr frosty key tag and told the kid when I was ordering but I saw that he added it for cost on the screen. When arriving at the window I told him I had the free frosty key tag but I saw that I was charged and he said "no you weren't". I said okay and handed him my card. After getting my food he handed me my card without the receipt which was odd and closed the window. I always get my receipt back at every place at least in the bag if not handed to me. I had to wave him down and ask for the receipt and sure enough the frosty was charged on there. Terrible attitude and customer service. How can you lie to a customer's face and then try to hide it? I have never been angrier in my life but didn't have time to go back in there and talk to anyone. How hard would it have been to press a button and take the charge off of the order? Instead he lied and took my card and ran it knowingly. I was more mad about the kid's integrity than the $2 charge. I've had forgotten items ordering food before but this was blatantly scamming a customer and is unacceptable. He gets away with one and he'll get away with more. This occurred...
