Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Wilder

This Dairy Queen is apparently very poorly managed and operated. We drove up to it about 9:30 on Monday night. Every light, inside and out were off. And I do mean EVERY LIGHT! The chairs on the inside were stacked. We drove up to the speaker and a young girl said we'll be with you in a minute (no other cars in line) A few minutes later she ask for our order. But that was after the fact that a pickup truck drove up behind us, and then decided to go around us to the window. They served that "very rude person" before us. Which I feel they should have told him to go back around and order at the window like you're supposed to. I ask the girl at the window if they were closed. She didn't answer me. I told her ALL the lights were off. Still.....no comment. And there were 4 people working!!! Well, I wouldn't say working. I'm not sure what they were doing. We sat in the lot and ate our ice cream, and watched several cars pull in and then left, thinking they were closed. If I was the Manager or Franchise owner, I'd be having a staff...

I’m a huge Dairy Queen fan. I love the food and of course I can’t deny a blizzard every once in a while. But I honestly avoid coming to the one closest to me because the staff is just extremely rude. They act like you coming to the drive thru to order is such an inconvenience to them and they barely let you get an order out without saying “is that it”. It gets even worse when you pull up to pay for your items. The only time they speak to you is to tell you a total. The girl handed me my blizzards then proceeded to scroll on her phone ignoring my food sitting there waiting. A guy finally hands me my food without a word even after I say thank you. This DQ is the worst around. We ordered, she repeated the order back, and it wasn't right. Then got aggravated and said she'd confirm at the window. She did not, and just grumpy turned our blizzard upside down to do the thickness test, and then closed the window. Another worker brought our sundae, and then we didn't get told anything for 10 full Minutes. The original girl picked her wedgie right in front of us (which she was wearing nude color tights, not khaki pants. Inappropriate.), and then disappeared.
