The reviews for Maharaja are true to their word. I ordered online and tried the regular naan, hot & spicy naan and the chicken tikka masala. I only took a picture of half of the hot and spicy naan. I was so eager to try the food and I didn’t want to post a picture of a half eaten bowl of masala. The chicken was tender and delicious. The gravy was perfectly balanced, with a little bit of heat, some sweetness from the tomato and cream, while being aromatic and flavorful from the spices. You HAVE to try the hot and spicy naan. It is absolutely delicious, but it is quite hot if you’re white. Their naan portions are more than double anyone else’s and better quality at that. The plain naan was fine as well. If you have any issues with your order, Kawaljit, the owner, or any of the other staff will be happy to make amends. I mistakenly ordered chicken tikka instead of tikka masala last time, not knowing that they were two separate dishes and they were more than happy to make it right for me, even though it was mostly my fault. I can’t wait to eat the rest of this food tomorrow for lunch, and can’t wait to come back when I’m too lazy to make my own Indian cuisine. This will now be my go-to Indian restaurant and I will recommend to any of my friends and family. Good luck with your business!

A nice place that has a homely feeling and has good food. We stopped by around 8.45pm and the hostess said it’s too late (when they close at 10), but they eventually sat us down. We ordered almost immediately and waited long. Waiting long means you know the food is fresh and cooked right before it comes to your table. We ordered mango lassi, that came in a ginormous glass. It tasted good. We ordered some plain naan and potato naan with Malai Kofta. Malai kofta is served with rice and the rice was well cooked as well. The potato naan was perfect - it was so soft to eat and you knew it was freshly made. We ordered the curry on the milder side for kids, but you can adjust your spice levels. The portion of malai kofta was too small for the price. We paid nearly $15 and got a small quantity of curry. We would have skipped the rice to get some extra curry. The naans were delicious along with the curry. The prices are a little expensive, but food is definitely tasty.

Newly opened in the old Skyline next to Longneck's Bar and Grill. Great Indian food. The garlic Naan was the best I ever had. I also liked their colorful basmati rice. Convenient to NKU and for dinner before or after a movie at the Wilder Cinema. Super nice staff! Heat scale 1 to 6. I have some experience and played it safe for a first time visit with a 3. So many options to choose from, familiar butter and masala sauces with several meat options. I had the Kadai Ginger Lamb. The Chai tea is called special tea on menu. Decor in Saffron and Crimson. Nice! Some more Indian decore and it would have been a 5 too. Update - when I went back for a second visit they had Indian decor on the walls and music playing in the background. The food was just as good this time as the 1st time. I did try different menu items this time.

I was extremely excited to see a new Indian Restaurant coming so close to me. I drove past 2-3 times a week to see when it was opening. I finally got the chance to go today, and am very impressed.

First, the food is incredible. I ordered a few different things to “test” the menu. I got the Mixed Appetizer Platter, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Tikka Saag which is my go to, and used to compare. I didn’t pay attention to what I got in the mixed platter, but I ate it all and enjoyed it. The sauces that came with it were all delicious, and added some extra variety to the flavor. I’m not sure what it is, but the dark sauce was my favorite.

For the naan, it’s easily the biggest portion I’ve ever received. It’s like, 2 10x10” pieces. For once I’m not worried about running out before the meal is done. Also extremely good, very well spiced.

Main thing was the Chicken Tikka Saag. You can choose a spice level 1-6. I asked for a “white guy 4” just to make sure I didn’t get myself into trouble. It’s fantastic. The rice isn’t dry at all, and it’s the best tikka saag I think I’ve had.

While I did do takeout, inside Maharaja is incredibly clean, and the employees make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. I highly...

I was excited to see there was a new Indian restaurant in town! So i stopped by for lunch and right off the bat was impressed. The owners are absolutely outstanding people. I arrived roughly 15 mins before doors open so i was chilling in my car waiting. The woman waved me to come on in almost 10 mins early and sat me down. Service immediately gets 5 stars just for that. My cup was never empty and she checked on me consistently. Traditional indian music playing was soothing. Made for a great atmosphere. Even though i was the only customer in the restaurant, i was comfortable. Now lets get to the best part, the food. If you know me, you know my absolute favorite food is indian cusine! So since this was my first time in attendance at this place, i ordered my usual. A traditional chicken curry, chef’s special naan (stuffed with garlic, onion, chicken, and potatos.), and an order of vegetable samosas. The absolute least i can say is that every bit of the food was outstanding. 10/10 would highly recommend. 5 stars across the board. I...
