The worst restaurant and managers or owners ever!!! What a horrible experience.

We just moved to the area so we tried this place for Chinese last weekend. IT WAS OKAY. Nothing special or good. simply OK.

Last night, we decided to get dinner from here. I ordered a pad Thai and honey chicken dinner. The pad Thai was HORRIBLE! It tasted so bland and was PINK! I’ve never seen this and I’ve had AUTHENTIC Thai in Miami. The honey chicken was more bread than chicken, simply horrible!

So today I call to very nicely ask for a refund since I didn’t eat the food because it was so so bad. The first manager I spoke with was polite and was trying to find my order, but then all of a sudden I was transferred and asked to repeat myself all over. I was frustrated and said I was confused because I thought my issue was being resolved and here I am having to explain to someone who doesn’t speak English, what happened.

This lady/manager/owner idk who she is, started yelling over me and not letting me speak.

She had the ARROGANCE to say they sold 20 pad Thai orders today. I said that means nothing to me; I didn’t like it because it TASTED SO BAD and BLAND.

I told her I would be back for my refund because she was having a fit and not being professional…

To the owners: DO BETTER! I will never come back here again, I rather make my own pad Thai and Chinese.

SKIP THIS PLACE! Nothing special. Nothing authentic or SAVORY!

Edited to add: the owners apparently don’t know how to read. I asked for my REFUND very nicely! It was the Second Lady I spoke with who was arrogant and RUDE! She yelled first!!!!!! But here the owner is trying to blame the customer! Horrible...

We've had food from Sunrise a few times over the last several years when visiting my parents in The Villages. This was our first time dining in. It was Christmas day, and we appreciated that they were open and had a variety of vegetarian options to suit our needs.

The food is okay. Not great. It does the job but was missing some flavor we'd hoped for. We had vegetable how mein, vegetable fried rice, and vegetables and tofu in brown sauce. All serviceable, but nothing "wow."

It's also awfully bright in there, with just a few small tables in their dining space decorated with posters of Chinese food. It's not a great atmosphere, and you'd probably be better off getting takeout.

The food came out quickly. (Though they forgot an item which came later.) Not our greatest experience. There's another nearby Chinese food place we'd try before...

I went to this restaurant yesterday right before they closed. And I was quite skeptical about making a last minute order; because usually when you go to a restaurant at the last minute its a 50/50 percent chance that you'll get hot fresh food. Not to mention, I drove all the way from Leesburg to try this restaurant. But I am here to tell you that the food was hot & fresh, and very delicious. The manager was a nice gentleman. He even let us know about the Asian cuisines that he do at the establishment, and about the homemade pork egg rolls. The service was quick and my order was actually correct when I made it home. I will highly recommend this restaurant to all of Lake County if you want your money worth and great Asian Cuisine food. And to be treated like family in not just another customer.
